Huangjisoo : An Introduction

Huangjisoo Review, Huangjisoo Cleansers, Huangjisoo K-Beauty

Cleansing is a key initial step in any skincare routine and one that is important in maintaining skin health. Cleansing removes impurities and excess oil from the skin and when done properly helps to prep it to improve the efficacy of the other skincare products you use afterwards. Choosing a cleanser based on your skin type as well as your skin goals will go a long way to help to improve the health and radiance of your skin. As a general rule, you want to use a cleanser that is strong enough to cleanse debris and impurities yet gentle enough so that it won't strip the skin and/or disrupt it's moisture barrier.

I recently commenced a collaboration with Sophie's Choice Beauty Box and through this I received an introductory huangjisoo gift box which included huangjisoo's cleansing oil and two of the brand's foaming cleansers.

Nature has power to create beauty!

huangjisoo is a Korean beauty brand that combines innovative technology with proven organic,  natural, botanica ingredients. Dr. Jisoo Huang was inspired by her own mother's struggle with atopic dermatitis and psoriasis to create a skincare line that could be used by everyone including those with skin conditions. Every formulation has been fastidiously developed by Dr. Huang and undergoes rigorous clinical testing before being released. The product line consists of a range of cleansers and sheet mask which address different skin concerns. All the products are hypoallergenic, vegan, cruelty-free and EWG certified. The huangjisoo brand has been growing in 20 countries worldwide.

This is a micro cloud type cleanser that dispenses as a fluffy cloud of foam. It has a faint green tea scent. The foam is almost mousse-like in texture and works into the skin just as well with my fingers as with my Clarisonic. Like the brightening cleanser, this anti-pollution cleanser is also a micro cloud type cleanser. It has a slight herbal medicine scent that I oddly like. The soft fluffy foam is pleasant to use and my skin feels soothed and cleansed without any tightness. I can't speak to the anti-pollution benefits but pollution is an ongoing concern of mine so I'm happy to use skincare that addresses that.

I haven't been using them long enough to see any of the long term benefits but I do like how these cleansers are cleanly formulated and how they work gently as they claim. huangjsioo products can be purchased direct from huangjisoo and from Amazon. These products seem great. Hunangjisoo sounds like a great brand!I particularly like the sound of that cleansing oil. I've been using a cleansing oil from Avon and so far I like it. I think there is a great potential to facial oils. My face gets dry in the winter so when it comes to cleaning products I'd rather try something moisturizing and oils can have wonderful benefits for our skin.

I've been testing out their cleansers lately and their cleansing oil is quickly becoming one of my favorites, I love the scent and how well it cleans the skin while still being gentle! A big no no for me is any cleanser that's too stripping, I feel like I need to work extra hard in my routine to replenish the lost hydration!

I want a thorough yet gentle cleanser to not upset my acne proe Skin any further. All three of them sound nice for that, but I would probably pick the oil for a first try.

These cleansers sound promising, I know it can be difficult to fully know how a product works until you have used it a while. I would be interested in the oil cleanser as I find foams can be drying. I am using an oil/gel that foams up from Lancome and I like it quite a bit and repurchased.
