So the reason for my radio silence last week is that we skipped town for a little midwinter jaunt to Miami. While it wasn't super hot there, it was pleasantly warm and infinitely better than the freezing temps we left behind in New York. It was fun, it was relaxing and we had a lot of amazing food. I didn't blog and I stayed off social media. I can talk about it now that I'm back. I don't announce my vacations or live post them because I like to protect my privacy and how am I going to live in the moment if I'm always concerned about posting. I did share a few moments on my Instastories on the day we returned and I will write about the trip in my upcoming travel guide.
Being in Miami definitely gave me a taste of Spring and warmer temps. I wore a few of my Sézane pieces there and I was excited when I got an email telling me that their new capsule collection just dropped. Mixing laidback California coolness with timeless Parisian elegance, this collection continues the brand's effortlessly chic and wearable aesthetic with a decidedly relaxed vibe. The Maurice T-shirt and Thea Jacket look like great wardrobe staples. The La Superbe sweatshirt is really cute but I'd be more likely to buy the French Toast sweatshirt since the entire proceeds from all sales will be donated to DEMAIN, the brand's major philanthropic initiative, which aims to improve the lives of children around the world.

It sounds like you had a wonderful trip! I agree with not posting anything about it until you return too, good advice to follow! :)

Taking a break is so important, especially if you're used to blogging all the time. It's really easy to lose yourself in it andd forget about selfcare so I'm happy to hear that you took a week off :)
I really liked all of the photos, this Elisa shirt was my favourite piece 💖

Very beautiful pieces; the quality of their clothing is amazing. Happy Monday.
I love the laid back aesthetics of Sezane! I've always wanted to try out their pieces since I've heard so many good things.
I love this brand. They have so many effortless pieces. Unfortunately shipping to Oz is just too high for me so it's always more of a window shop love story when I'm on their site. Hope you had a lovely time in Miami. I love that you disconnected. It definitely would have made the trip far more enjoyable without the stresses of capturing perfect pics. I'm also there with you when it comes to privacy. Back in the days of snapchat you could turn your phone to airplane mode and add snaps and not worry about it uploading your exact location or what you were doing. These days I find it take more restraint. Even though you can post after the fact to insta stories, there's still that temptation to do so then and there.

Sounds like you had a wonderful time in Miami! It makes absolutely sense to me that you don't publish it on Social Media when you are on vacation. And like you I have a weakness for Sézane and I can imagine you were so happy wearing a few of your pieces of this brand in Miami. Thanks for sharing all the wonderful inspirations here from this brand!

Everything looks amazing! xx
So many pretty pieces! Hope you had a good vacation :)
I'm happy to hear that you have enjoyed your stay in Miami. If I were to go on vacation, I'll probably wait until I get back to post as well. It is important to keep a sense of privacy, especially when one uses social media and/or blogs. Plus, I read that for safety reasons people shouldn't advertise their vacation at all.
This Sezane collection is beautiful, so chic and timeless. Thanks for sharing.
I'm so glad to hear that you had a wonderful time in Miami! I'm definitely looking forward to seeing your travel guide! Also I'm loving this collection...the designs are so beautifully classic! It definitely has me excited for spring! :)
