This is where I talk about some of the beauty products I've been loving lately...

Nécessaire The Body Wash
I had this on my April wish list and purchased it last month. Formulated with a range of nourishing ingredients like peptides, niacinamide hyaluronic acid, and marula oil, this body wash really does elevate the shower experience while making it possible to "treat your body like your face." are made with nourishing ingredients. I love that it's free of fragrance as well as allergenic additives and endocrine disruptors. It has also done wonders to improve the texture of my husband's skin.
$25 at Nordstrom, Barneys New York and Violet Grey

Sulwhasoo Snowise Brightening Cleansing Foam
This is a cleanser that I always go back after trying others because I haven't found a foaming second cleanser that I like as much. Using it is always a luxurious experience. Just a tiny amount works into the softest, bounciest foam that cleanses deeply leaving my skin feeling refreshed, clean and bright without and tightness or dryness. I don't even mind the forest fresh scent.
$40.76 at Yesstyle and Beautytap

Thank You Farmer Daily Project Light Sun Essence SPF 50
I picked this up because I love the Thank You Farmer Sun Project Shimmer Sun Essence SPF 30 which you can read about here.  This product features the same lovely weightless texture with a  combination physical and chemical sunblock with broad spectrum SPF 50 PA++.  It's quick absorbing without any greasiness, heaviness or white cast. And the clean formulation with aloe leaf extract, lotus flower water and niacinamide also moisturizes, soothes, minimizes the appearance of pores and helps repair the skin barrier.
$27 at Dermstore, Anthropologie, Yesstyle and Soko Glam

Wink Brow Bar Nourishing Lash Fortifier + Keratin*
I had to stop using my regular lash growth product after getting a lash line enhancement but Wink Brow Bar came to my rescue with their Nourishing Lash Fortifier + Keratin. This strengthening and  thickening formula works to stimulate follicle growth and fortify root structure. This is a great conditioning product that works as it claims and has gone a long way to help maintain the volume and length of my lashes. I use in the am and pm. It makes a wonderful lash primer and can also be used on the brows.
$68 at Wink Brow Bar

Mychelle Remarkable Retinal Serum*
This EWG certified, advanced serum features an exclusive and patented vitamin A derivative called IconicA® (Retinal), the first stable retinaldehyde and most potent form of Vitamin A that works to promote healthy skin renewal to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improve uneven skin tone, restore skin firmness, and shrink the appearance of enlarged pores.. I've tried a number of retinol and retinol alternative products over the years and some work better than others. This product is gentle enough for every day use and is also effective. I experienced no dryness or sensitivity while seeing a visible difference in tone and texture.  This is a terrific alternative for those who are sensitive for Retin-A.
$48 at Amazon, Thrive Market, iHerb and Mychelle

Pat McGrath Lab FetishEyes  Mascara*
This is the first mascara I've used in awhile and it's really good. The buildable peptide infused formula lengthens and adds volume without any clumping, flaking or heaviness. I really like the densely packed non tapered brush which catches all of my lashes. While it's not waterproof, it's pretty long lasting and smudge resistant.
$28 at Sephora and Pat McGrath

YSL Tatouage Couture Liquid Matte Lip Stain
I usually stay away from matte anything especially lip products but I am besotted with this lip stain.  I have it in Shade 28 Nude Undercover which is a perfect lips but better color because it tones down some of the natural pink color of my lips. But the brilliance is in the hydrating, ultra pigmented formulation with a satin matte finish that feels comfortable and virtually weightless on my lips. It's non drying and fairly long lasting though it doesn't hold up to eating or drinking which I'm ok with.
$37 at Sephora, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus and YSL

I'd love to try out that lash fortifier. I've been getting extensions for years now but lately on one eye lashes are not holding to my own and we can't figure out why. It's getting to the point where I may need to take a break so they can re-strengthen themselves because for the life of me don't know what is going on. I've started to increase my intake of certain veggies that is supposed to help keep them healthy like broccoli so fingers crossed hahaha! I can't do without my lash extensions anymore.

I finally used up the lash serum purchased a while back - I used what's left on my brows and it worked nicely. I didn't know you need to use a certain type of serum after getting lashline enhancement. (I am seriously considering getting this done on my upper waterlines. I will ask for your advice when we see each other :))

Hope you had a nice weekend, Rowena! Today it's so much better. Wish you a beautiful week ahead!

I've always been curious about the Necessaire body washes because they're all over Instagram, and while the ingredients impress me, I'm not sure I can get used to a fragrance-free body wash. I'm also intrigued by the Pat McGrath mascara, it sounds like everything I'm looking for in a mascara!
