Holiday Gift Guide : Wellness

Wellness Gift Guide, Gift Guide, Gift Ideas, Holiday Gifting, Wellness Gifts

The wellness category is one that is near and dear to me because these are gifts that make people's lives better. Because of past personal health I make self care and wellness a priority. I think it's something we can all benefit from given the times we live in stressful times. One thing we can control is taking care of ourselves. There's no point in looking good when you feel like garbage. In the past few years, I've probably invested more time and money on wellness than beauty and for me, it's worth it. As always some of these picks are personal favorites.

1. Ullo Wine Purifier
Wine drinkers will appreciate this purifiers that instantly restores the natural flavor and aroma of wine by removing sulfite preservatives. Sulfites are artificial chemicals added to wine as a preservative and are no longer needed once the bottle is opened. It also includes an adjustable aerator for a fresher, cleaner sip. Sulfa allergy sufferers will benefit from this and I've heard using this also helps to eliminate wine headaches and hangovers.

2. Philips Wake-Up Light Alarm Clock
This clock will slowly light up in the morning, like the rising sun to gradually nudge you into state of wakefulness. This process of changing and increasing light stimulates your body to wake up more naturally and comfortable so that feel more energized and refreshed. A friend of mine who is not a morning person swears by this.

3. PhoneSoap UV Smartphone Sanitizer & Universal Charger
Studies which tested a number of phones for bacteria which showed that every phone was contaminated with over 17,000 bacteria particles and 20 different types of bacteria were identified which is pretty disgusting. Oh that smart mug is cool!! I so could use one of those! I make coffee with a french press and the only issue I have with it is that it does keep coffee hot. My coffee cools off in about 5 mins I guess b/c I am only making one cup so the water is not boiling for all that long. Great suggestion!

This is the first I hear of a wine purifier. Sounds like something wine drinkers would enjoy. I also haven't heard about a smart mug before. That cook book seems like a perfect gift.
