This outfit worn by Alexandra Golovanoff brings to mind that great Leonardo da Vinci quote - "Simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication." Each component of the look is classic and simple on it's own and when paired together, the entire ensemble is eclectic, elegant and effortlessly chic. The ruffled neckline fuzzy sweater and button front denim midi skirt strike a balance of softness and structure while the sparkly necklace and red mary janes add a statement making pop. I love how the embellished shoe strap subtly calls back the crystal strands. Those shoes are fabulous! I want those shoes. I have always had a thing for red shoes. Since we've been on lockdown I've joined the no pants club and have been spending my days in dresses. I've also been slowly cleaning and re-organizing my closet. Even though I currently have no where to go, it's been fun to shop my own wardrobe and come up with new styling combinations. I'm sure I have all the elements to create my own version of this outfit.

I so agree with da Vinci's quote. And this look... OMG! I would totally wear it! So beautiful, femenine and cute yet really simple.
Have a wonderful day!

It looks beautiful, but I struggle with that dress length.
I'd wear it too! Love the skirt. so very pretty!
I'd wear it.
So cute, I would wear this too. I really love the top and shoes :))) x
Although I don't think I could pull off this midi length skirt being petite I do agree this is a great outfit and I love the statement accessories with it with the shoes and necklace! :)
Hope you are having a great week :)

So agree with you, chingu...classic and simple really is the best combination. Everything on this outfit just works without being overkill, and OMG! Those shoes!!!!!
Gorgeous outfit.. so effortlessly chic. Loving those shoes.
The same for me! I definitely would wear this and I have also a faible for such looks. The red shoes are the cherry on the cake :)

That is such a chic outfit and one that I would wear too. The only thing I would change is the skirt length, shorter so it's just slightly below the knees.
This mid length skirt it so my style is sophisticated like to wear it with 4 inch heels because I'm short.
This is such a pretty look - simple yet attention-grabbing, and I feel like something very wearable <3

I do like a good mod length skirt. I remember my mother had a denim skirt just like the one she is wearing and I couldn't wait to grown up and wear it. This is a great outfit. The statement necklace and the ruby red shoes take it to a whole new level. I also like red shoes, maybe it is a Wizard in Wonderland thing for me-Although, as I recently found out, the shoes weren't red in the book, just the film. I do understand why they made them red for the film, it makes so much sense as those red shoes really draw in the eye.
