Beauty Products, Favorite Beauty Products

This is where I talk about some of the beauty products I've been loving lately...

MDSUN Clarifying Serum*
Formulated with a cocktail of high potency brighteners (potassium azeloyl diglycinate & nicotinic acid), antioxidants (mandelic acid) exfoliating agents (capryloyl salicyclic acid) and humectants (pro-vitamin B5), this breakthrough skincare treatment works to stimulate cell renewal to effectively target multiple skin issues including blemishes, dark spots, oily, dehydrated, acne and dull skin. MDSUN Collagen Lift is one of my favorite skincare products I've used this year and the serum is just as impressive. It has a lovely silky, lightweight texture that sinks readily into skin with a soothing feel. I don't have acne scars but I do have freckles and I have seen some visible lightening since incorporating this serum into my routine about a month ago. I feel it has also helped calm redness and irritation which I do get on occasion now from frequent mask wearing.
$150 (1 fl oz/ 30 mL) at MDSUN

Andis Womens Electric Wet & Dry Shaver*
We have an Andis Cordless Clipper in our arsenal of home haircut tools which we swear by because it works like a dream. This rechargeable, cordless full-body shaver designed for the female body is part of the brand's new women’s personal trimming line. I really like the slim and compact size and that it comes with it's own stand. This lightweight shaver works really well on my legs and especially on the underarm and bikini area which can be a little tricky. It comes with a foil guard that conveniently converts it to a trimmer that works without and tugging or pulling. It's nice that it can be used in or out of the shower and is easy to clean. I have used it several times and the lithium-ion powered battery is still going strong.
$49.99 (6 piece kit) at Amazon & Andis

Allies of Skin Molecular Nutrient Day Cream
This concentrated formula packed with 8 hydrators, 10 antioxidants and a 12.5% nutrient complex acts as a daily multi-supplement for the skin replenishing it with all the nutrients it needs to repair and revive itself.  Marrubium stem cells and moringa extract form a protective shield against the damaging effects of High-Energy Visible (HEV) light, environmental pollution and free-radicals while superoxide dismutase, green tea, caffeine, licorice root extract, curcumin, phospholipids, and ceramides protect and repair and strengthen the skin barrier. I have loved everything I've tried from this brand and this day cream is no exception. It provides the perfect amount of hydration, layers  beautifully underneath sunscreen and makes my skin feel and look refreshed and more luminous. I also love that it provides protection against pollution and HEV light which have become two features I look for in a day cream.
$99 (1.69 fl oz/ 50 mL) at Dermstore, Revolve & Amazon

Peter Thomas Roth: PRO Strength 10% PHA Exfoliating Clarifying Liquid*
Formulated with an expert-level concentration of 10% Gluconolactone (PHA) boosted by 5% Glycolic Acid and 0.5% Salicylic Acid, this daily leave-on exfoliating and clarifying treatment works to clear acne-prone skin and reduce the look of uneven texture and tone while Improving radiance. This product is so easy to use as you just apply it with a cotton pad after cleansing.  I was pleasantly surprised the first time I tried it because my skin was visibly softer and smoother the next morning. I waited two days to use it again and got the same results without any redness or drying. Since then I have added it to my routine, using it every other night. I like how this proven ingredients in a potent combination but isn't irritating to my skin. With continued use, I'm hoping that it will help to further even out my skintone and refine the appearance of my pores.

Nécessaire The Body Exfoliator
This body exfoliator is a combination chemical and physical  treatment made with a gentle AHA/BHA trio of glycolic, lactic, and salicylic acids  that work synergistically to exfoliate, soften and renew. I'm a big fan of the Nécessaire The Body Wash and it has been the body wash of choice in our household since last year. This exfoliator is a gel that turns into a soft grainy foam when added to water. It is gentle yet effective and like the body wash it elevates the shower experience while making my skin feel clean and soft. I have previously tried the fragrance-free version of this and I picked up a set with it in the Bergamot scent. I'm not a fan of scented body products but I do like bergamot and this one is subtle, fresh and exhilarating. The other scents are Eucalyptus and Sandalwood which don't sound appealing to me at all. I really like this brand's  "treat your body like your face." philosophy and use of nourishing ingredients without any allergenic additives and endocrine disruptors. My husband and I both use this. He dislikes anything too "scrubby" but he is a fan of this.
$30 (6.1 fl oz/ 180 mL) at Sephora, Nordstrom & Violet Grey

The body exfoliator is on my list. I suffer from body acne and this will at least mitigate it. I tried many and they were all fails. I'll definitely try this one out.
Thanks for the recommendation!

I really like the look of the trimmer, most electric ones are way too bulky.
