Reading...
As an introvert who has to be dragged out of the house sometimes, I'm finding this book to be quite relatable and amusing. The author, Jessica Pan has a writing style that is witty, humorous and insightful which makes this a breezy and enjoyable read.
The Glory Netflix, The Glory Poster

Watched and Recommending..
Netflix decided to split this drama up into 2 parts and we watched the first part when it was released back in December. The second part came out on March 10th and my husband and I actually took off from work so we could binge. As much as I hated the wait, it was worth it. The second part of The Glory notched up the intensity and suspense and was ultimately an immensely satisfying watch. We're not the only ones who loved it as The Glory is currently ranked first overall in Netflix’s English and non-English, TV, and film categories globally. And the riveting tale of revenge is also getting much critical acclaim and is that rare TV drama series scoring a 100% rating on review site Rotten Tomatoes. Anyway I have recommended it and continue to recommend it. The Glory is a well made and thought provoking thriller that tackles the horrors and long lasting trauma of school violence as a societal problem. It's also created an awareness to howthe impact of bullying, empowering victims to speak up and leading to repercussions for past perpetrators. The Glory was also credited for increasing subscribers to the streaming platform when part 1 was aired. This show is not always easy to watch but it is one of the best K-drama series we have ever watched. We're still talking about it in our house. Anyway watch The Glory if you get the chance. It's way better than Squid Game.

This chickpea bowl with kale, avocado, and egg is full of healthy components prepared in a way that is also delicious. It's also easy to prep which is why it has become a lunch favorite in our house.

Following a...
I was previously on a 16:8 fasting schedule but since stepping up my workouts, I need to eat a little more often for energy so I switched to a 5:2 schedule. The 5:2 diet consists of five days of routine eating while  restricting calories to 500–600 per day on 2 days with 1 non-fasting day in between. I've only been doing this for a few weeks but I'm finding it pretty easy to stick to. I really believe in the benefits of intermittent fasting and this is a lifestyle choice which I feel helps my health and overall wellbeing.

Exercising with...
I've continued my pilates practice even though I can do cardio again. I just really like the strength and balance it gives me. I invested in a pilates ring to take my workouts to the next level. I like that it doesn't take up much room and it's great for adding resistance to upper body, lower body and core workouts.

I try to find ways to live more sustainably and recently made the switch from laundry pods to these laundry sheets. I'm a big fan of of how they're fragrance-free, clean well, take up virtually no space and are environmentally friendly.

Backing up...
I was never an Ugg fan until I got a pair of these boots in black in 2018. I love the slim profile and they're so lightweight, warm and comfortable. My old pair is starting to wear down a little so I purchased a new pair in grey suede when I spotted them on sale recently as a back up.

We fast for a whole month in Ramadan and then have an occasional fast here and there for religious purposes so any other fasting is just not something I am ever interested in doing.
The chickpea bowl sounds yum.

Hey Rowena, thank you so much for your lovely comment over the blog!

Your compliments are a really good motivation to keep up with my creative processes :)

And happy Spring! I hope you have a wonderful season and I think many of these picks are linked to the nicest things of Spring. That pair of boots seems super comfortable and the idea of changing to a kind detergent option is something that I would love to do in the future! I'll start searching for nicest options in my area.

First time I hear about this Moroccan dish, I think I have tried similar options but this one sounds divine and it has some of the ingredients I enjoy the most! And we're always in the mood to find out a new Netflix show, the plot of The Glory sounds intriguing and that poster is everything! *_* But I have to catch up with the 1st part in order to understand the rest of the show :)

Will check the other posts I have missed!

Hugs from Barcelona!

The book sounds compelling. I wouldn't describe myself as a typical introvert because I'm the mix of the two but I'm sure I could relate to it.
