Greg Hsu disposes of gender constraints in this provocative editorial for Vogue Taiwan and he looks hot while eliminating the boundaries between men's and women's clothing. The 33 year old Taiwanese actor who doesn't hesitate to challenge himself when it comes to his acting projects also challenged himself with this pictorial where he was not just the model but also an enthusiastic contributor to the creative direction. In speaking about the clothing he wore for the shoot, Greg expressed that he doesn't see a need to differentiate gender in clothing since we live in a relatively androgynous era nowadays. He acknowledged the power of women's clothing and though he liked the heels, he found them painful to wear and appreciated that women could have a hard time with them. Anyway this is one of the best editorials I've seen this year. It's quite powerful and creative.
The feature effusively describes Greg's ascent to stardom from the time traveling romance drama Someday Or One Day which made him extremely popular across Asia. While flattered, he is uncomfortable with titles like national boyfriend and male god that he has been labeled with. It's not a matter of being mysterious but he is just pragmatic and low-key and just wants to do his job as an actor without getting caught up in being a celebrity. This was quite apparent in his appearance in the reality show Chinese Restaurant, where no task was too menial and he gamely washed piles of dishes at the end of each service. His gentle and humble demeanor is really sweet and refreshing. Admittedly I have watched a lot of his work this year which has made me appreciate his choices as well as his acting talents. While he could easily coast as a romantic lead, Greg isn't afraid to challenge himself to convincingly play villains and he also excels in comedy and action in Marry My Dead Body which is one of my favorite movies of 2023. He is currently appearing as a corrupt cop in The Invisible Guest, a remake of the Spanish movie of the same name. Next year will see the release of the Taiwan-Japanese co-production film Youth 18×2: The Journey to You and he will be part of the cast of the Korean thriller drama No Way Out. Yes he is indeed popular across Asia.

Have a great time off:)
PS Rowena, I got COVID over the holidays! My eldest was the first one to get it (from school we're pretty sure), then I got it and had to isolate and miss all the Christmas stuff and even that Christmas concert my daughter did:( My middle child is just getting over it now too. It's great to see you're keeping vigilant. I didn't get the booster shot this year and man, COVID sucks the second time around.
Edging and fierce images have a great new years.
Very cool editorial!
