Greg Hsu is looking fantastic in the latest issue of Fantastic Man. I'm loving the bold portraiture style of this editorial. This first image is just stunning. Audiences often see the handsome 36 year old actor as gentle and mild mannered, yet he himself is drawn to contrast and contradiction that allows him to retain a rare sense of authenticity. Rather than pursuing a certain level of success, he is more interested in audience gradually seeing more authentic and multifaceted versions of him through each of his performances.
While Someday Or One Day catapulted him to soaring success and made him one of my favorite actors, Greg has never been one to rest on his laurels. Instead he has steadily and ambitiously expanded his acting portfolio with a wide range of roles while also ascending to a wider Asian stage. I lowkey loved his villainous turn in Nowhere Man and we still rewatch the supernatural buddy comedy action film Marry My Dead Body regularly. He has been working diligently since completing his military service and I look forward to being able to see him on the screen again soon. Until then, it's nice to see him pop up in cool editorials like this.
