Floral Friday : While Walking

This month's Floral Friday is about capturing the blooming beauty we discover while out and about. We're quite fortunate to have a garden growing downstairs in our apartment complex so I didn't actually have to go too far for these lovely floral inspirations. This past Winter was particularly cold and long in NYC so the flowers have been late to arrive but they're slowly along coming now and what a welcome sight. The cherry blossom trees are always my favorite. They're really such a visual treat especially in full bloom. Rena and Ian are quite fond of them as well. What are your favorite Spring flowers?

Floral Fridays is a monthly photography project with different themes each month. This series is about fun and taking time out to smell the flowers. To play along, please email Trishie for next month's theme. And please visit my fellow participants below for more floral beauty.

There's still time to enter our Mother's Day giveaway for a $500 C. Wonder gift card!

I can't quite get my head around the concept of this (I'm very slow and rubbish at catching onto trends) so the whole FloralFridays thing is getting my head in a bit of a muddle but the pictures are great. I might have to email your link and see what happens!

I agree with what you say about Graham Norton. He kind of has a knack for getting celebrities to do silly and more humorous bits that they are so afraid to show of themselves.

Hope your weekend is going well. We seem to have a running conversation about TV here. Ask what I'm doing on a Saturday night. Not wild and out on the town, that's for sure.

A very beautiful project. Your lucky to be in a place where there is a wide array of flowers. Here in the tropics there are fewer kinds of blooms. Or maybe I'm just not looking hard enough. Thank you for that little reminder - to stop and smell the flowers, literally. <3
