Refresh Your Skin with Evian

Evian Facial Spray, Evian Mineral Water

I've been a fan of facial sprays for quite some time and usually have one in my purse so it's a wonder that it's taken me so long to get around to trying the Evian Facial Spray.

About the Brand: Evian Natural Mineral Water's journey starts as rain and snow high atop the French Alps after which it filters for over 15 years through glacial rock and sand to a deep underground catchment just outside the town of Evian-Les-Bains, France. The water contained in the spray is tested 300 times per days to ensure quality and the consistent unique mineral content. Evian Water Spray was originally introduced in France in 1962 at the request of doctors for use on burn patients. It was the first facial water spray in France and was introduced as the first facial spray in the US in 1978.

About the Product: Evian Facial Spray contains a pure, soft mineral water with a totally unique mineral balance and a neutral 7.2pH. Because of these properties, this spray is suitable for all skin types even the most sensitive.

Packaging: Evian Facial Spray is packaged in an attractive looking spray canister which makes it convenient to take on the go. This package is sealed at the source so it is leakproof and cannot be contaminated. The spray is propelled via high pressure by pure nitrogen into micro droplets making it environmentally safe.

Price: Evian Facial Spray is available in 3 - 4 sizes depending on the retailer.
1.7 oz. (50ml) travel size for $7.00 or three pack for $19.50
5 oz. (150ml) (the size shown here) for $12.00
10 oz. (300ml) for $17.50

Evian Facial Spray, Evian Mineral Water

My Impressions: I've used this spray after washing my face before applying my products, as a finishing spray for my makeup as well as a hydrator throughout the day. The fine micro-mist has no scent and moisturizes with a slight cooling sensation that is quite soothing. This spray hydrates and refreshes my skin without any irritation. I also like that it performs well as a multi-purpose product. Yes it is water in a can but the mineral content in this water does really give it viable beauty benefits. It won't change the tone of your skin but it will improve the absorption of the products you apply as well as add a clean boost of moisture while reviving your skin. I have a number of facial sprays which I already use and I do plan on adding this one to the mix.

Evian Facial Spray is available through many retailers including Nordstrom, Sephora, Ulta, and Drugstore.com.

Have you tried Evian Facial Spray or any other facial sprays?

This spray sounds really lovely and refreshing. I have been tempted to pick it up a few times and after your review I'm sold. I think my face would love a bit of minerals :) x

I thought that Evian was a brand for drink water and I am a little bit surprised now! I have never tried any facial sprays. I am afraid that they can be used only in the mornings or in the evenings when I don't wear make-up. Does this product remove your make-up during the day? If it doesn't and if it really moisturizes, then I'm going to buy this product. Thanks, Rowena! xo

I have a similar spray from Vichy and it's great for summer!

Yep, I have tried it already and is really a great product Rowena! Actually, you remind of it as at the moment Im using the one from Avene, but previously (especially in summer), have used it and I liked how fresh and smooth it leaves the skin. Have a wonderful weekend my dear, many kisses! xo

I have gotten into using facial spray for the past two months now since I bought one from Cremolab, the Korean brand. It's very useful and hydrating and I am loving it. It does come in handy whenever I use I need that extra boost of hydration for my face *_^

I have not tried this Evian one though... wow 300 times a day?! It's 12.5 times in a hour. They really take their mineral water seriously *_^

Glad that you have enjoyed it. Have a fantastic weekend ahead, Rowena!

Cheers,
Jeann

I have not tried this one! Nor have I tried the sprays though they sound awesome! I would love to try them for a makeup setter as I always like to splash a little water on my face after I apply my makeup so I don't look powdery....gotta give it a go!!! Hope you are doing well friend! Wishing you a happy weekend! Nicole xoxo

I love this spray. I use it in the summer. It really helps with my combination skin, especially after most of my makeup have melted away; this helps to refresh my skin on the go.

I remember carrying one around one summer, but it hasn't become a staple. Whenever I need a splash of mineral water in the morning, I just use the bottled one. :)

Hi Rowena, Your review does sound like this Evian facial mist is good. I often hear people marvel about facial mist but somehow I can't put myself to spray it over my face with bb cream. I know that it could be used on make up face and in fact it helps to set the make up but I can't get over the fact that water would be mixed with the make up and oil (from the skin) throughout the day in our humid weather. Hence, I've never bought one. I received an Etude House BB magic mist and I think it could be the same as a facial mist. Probably I should give it a try when the weather is less humid.

I was just laughing at the concept of this yesterday--WATER IN A CAN, PEOPLE. OVERPRICED WATER IN A CAN!!! I've always wondered if its a placebo effect, but anyways, I mean, realistically, couldn't people just empty a bottle of Evian water into a spray bottle?

I actually never used a product like this one...maybe one day I give it a try.
