Eye Candy : Yoon So Yi for Sure

Yoon So Yi is the picture of glamour in this playful Sure editorial photographed by Kim Eo Mil which highlights a few different makeup looks. This first one if my favorite! The gorgeous actress was very toned down in the makeup and wardrobe department in her recent role as a detective on a special investigative team in the drama Hidden Identity. And this is believable as I always have to roll my eyes when I see female cops on TV with perfect hair and makeup, immaculate wardrobes and high heels. Yes I'm looking at you Kate Beckett from Castle. I think So Yi has a refreshingly vibrant energy that comes through in her performances and is such an underrated actress. She seems to continually get cast in action roles and I'm guessing that might be because she established herself as a believable action heroine early on when she made her film debut in Arahan. I'd love to see her work with Ji Chang Wook again. I liked their chemistry in Warrior Baek Dong Soo and their characters really should've ended up together.

I like that she doesn't look like an ulzzang. She looks unique and beautiful. Her cheekbones, just wow.

I've never seen her before in a drama.. will be checking one out.

Loving your perception of her as a believable female cop, but I have to defend Kate Beckett just because she's my favourite Tv character, haha. Anyway, Yoon So Yi is gorgeous in this editorial, and I'm loving the playful vibes!

I had to google Yoon So Yi to see how she really look outside of this editorial. The first pic that you like is also my favourite picture of her. I love such cool looks. The images of her on Google looks natural and sweet w/o much make up at all and she gives the impression that she's down to earth. Hahaha on female cops with immaculate hair, make up and high heel shoes. I often wonder how these beauties kick asses.

BTW, I caught The Myth on cable recently and I fell in love with that korean actress. She looks immaculate in the show, a real ancient Asian beauty and I was wondering if you featured her before. Upon googling, I realised she has got many different kinds of look. I almost couldn't tell which is her actual look.

Rowena, You have no idea. I'm always in awe of your content-worthy posts churned out at regular intervals. I know you shared before you have a blog schedule and I think it takes lots of determination to keep up with it.

Thanx for sharing with me more about your feet aversion. It helps me understand why you feel this way. Oh yes, when I was in NYC during winter, it's so slushy! I don't think I could wear flip flops there too. I guess coz we grow up in a troical country whereby it's the norm to wear flip flops so I don't find feet disgusting but oh... some people really do have dirty and unkempt feet and those are gross.

For me, it is easy to tell that Ian and Rena are little mini mes of hub and you. No, you haven't told me about them being able to fit Ken and Barbie's clothes and I think that's so wonderful that they do. It makes shopping for them so much easier! I'm so intrigued by this doll hobby of yours and I would love to read your post on them!

Thanx for connecting on FB too! I could see what you mean about your FB state but it's ok. I appreciate your acceptance of request.

Have a wonderful day of what's left of the weekend!
