Eye Candy : Editorial Roundup

Han Chae Young, Han Chae Young Marie Claire, Han Chae Young 2016

It's been awhile since my last eye candy roundup. This edition will feature takes from some recent fall editorials. Han Chae Young is absolutely smoldering for Marie Claire. The gorgeous actress is currently one of the hosts of the beauty talk show Please Take Care of My Vanity. Song Hye Kyo recently reminisced about the 16th anniversary of Autumn In My Heart which is one of the dramas that started the Hallyu wave around the world and I was reminded that Han Chae Young also got her start in that show. She was the grown up version of the other baby who was switched at birth.

Jung Woo Sung, Jung Woo Sung Marie Claire, Jung Woo Sung 2016
Jung Woo Sung who is also gracing the pages of Marie Claire will soon be back on the big screens in the crime thriller Asura. It was fun to see him and his fellow cast on Infinite Challenge recently. They definitely weren't doing an ugly friends special when he and Joo Ji Hoon walked out there.
Han Hyo Joo, Han Hyo Joo Marie Claire, Han Hyo Joo 2016
Woo Sung's Cold Eyes co-star Han Hyo Joo is rocking autumn stylishly. I was really surprised that she won the APAN best drama actress award over Song Hye Kyo. I didn't watch W but I heard that wasn't one of her better performances and Hye Kyo had the standout performance in Descendants of the Sun as far as I'm concerned. At least everyone else in the main cast won. By the way, Descendants of the Sun is now on Netflix!
Park Bo Gum, Park Bo Gum Mens Uno, Park Bo Gum 2016
Park Bo Gum is currently winning rave reviews as the Crown Prince in the drama Moonlight Drawn by Clouds. I've only seen clips of his work but I'm very impressed with this cutie following his recent appearance on 1N2D where his impeccable manners, down to earth personality and modesty shined. That reminded me so much of Lee Seung Gi. It's no surprise Bo Gum is so adored by his seniors and people in the industry. His boyish good looks are out in full force for Men's Uno and he could totally pass for a school boy in this sharp outfit.
Kim Hyun Joo, Kim Hyun Joo Marie Claire, Kim Hyun Joo 2016
Kim Hyun Joo is an actress who I've always felt was underrated. I'm really enjoying her heartfelt performance as a drama writer dealing with a terminal illness in Fantastic and her chemistry with Joo Sang Wook is just amazing. Love this Tory Burch look she's got going here also for Marie Claire.
Yoon Shi Yoon has been a nice addition to the cast of 1N2D. He was a little naive at first and kept getting tricked but has quickly caught on. Hs never wavering positive attitude and competitive spirit are fun to watch. I actually got my wish for that rude Jung Joon Young to be booted off the show. I just knew he would be involved in a scandal sooner or later.
Chun Woo Hee, Chun Woo Hee Marie Claire, Chun Woo Hee 2016
Chun Woo Hee is rocking out in Salvatore Ferragamo. This graphic look combined with the bold bag is so chic and elegant.
Lee Joon Gi, Lee Jun Ki Marie Claire, Lee Joon Gi 2016
Lee Joon Gi reportedly dropped dropped 33 pounds for his role as a prince in Moon Lovers Scarlet Heart Ryeo. He's so slim already so I don't even know where he had that weight to lose. Joon Gi makes the move to Hollywood with a role in the franchise finale Resident Evil: The Final Chapter. That game is so much better than the movies!
Jo Yoon Hee, Jo Yoon Hee First Loo, Jo Yoon Hee 2016
Jo Yoon Hee seems to be channeling her inner princess for 1st Look and she looks so pretty.
Ha Jung Woo, Ha Jung Woo Arena Hommes Plus, Ha Jung Woo 2016
Ha Jung Woo will be one of the celebrity cameos that will be popping up in the Korean remake of Entourage. I never got into the American series but I might check the new version since Jo Jin Woong and Lee Kwang Soo will both be in it. Jung Woo is looking a little mysterious in Arena Hommes Plus.
Song Ji Hyo, Song Ji Hyo Cosmopolitan, Song Ji Hyo 2016
Song Ji Hyo is awesome on Running Man and a little less awesome as an actress but she usually fares well in rom coms so it's good that her next project will be a Korean remake of the J-drama My Wife's Having An Affair This Week. The drama which is based on a true story actually doesn't focus on infidelity but relationships. Lee Sun Kyun who I've missed in drama land plays the husband. This show will be airing on tVN following FantastiC and I may just pick it up.
Cha Seung Won, Cha Seung Won Arena Hommes Plus, Cha Seung Won 2016
Cha Seung Won has always been know for his great acting skills but I love how he flipped his image on the variety show Three Meals A Day where he became known as Chajumma for his incredible cooking skills. The man even made his bread and liquor from scratch! He gets back to his modeling roots here for Arena Hommes Plus.

Oh my goodness! So much awesomeness in this post, but you know who my fave is...hehe....Man, Cha Seung Won is really such a hottie I can't even. I must really find that Three Meals episode....aaaaaaaah! And yeah....so surprised Han Hyo Woo won over Song Hye Kyo! I loved her in W but no comparison with SHK for sure.
And I think it was Jane who told me that she likes Moonlight with PBG. I think I'll add that to my list. So great to hear how nice these actors are. Thanks, sunbae:D

Chun Woo Hee is stunning and she makes me miss my long hair even though mine never looks that good. And yes, I agree with Anne, there's lots of dewy skin in these editorials and they all look so fresh, healthy and radiant. I'm really loving the healthy skin base.

Great eye candy for a Friday afternoon! I love the last photo featuring the heart sweater, plaid pants, and sporty shoes. Definitely a look I'd love to see my husband sporting. I think I'll be sharing this eye candy with him, too!

Oh yeah back with the eye candy who doesn't love a little eye candy. I really like what Han Hyo Joo is wearing in the Marie Claire editorial. And I have to get in on the K Dramas I am getting a bit bored with what is on Netflix and Amazon.

I always admire the ability of actors to play the role of a model. They all did a great job in these editorials. I don't know which of these photos is my favourite. Both the female and male parts look terrific!

Keep showcasing Asian talent Rowena! There's so much of it and I always learn something new from your posts :D These covers & features are amazing. Love that Salvatore Ferragamo dress Chun Woo Hee is wearing. The bag is too cute. Yoon Shi Yoon is just too cute! I love his boyish charm. Love the outfit he's wearing. That navy looks so good on him. I don't even know Lee Joon Ji, but can tell he's never been big. To lose 33 pounds is A LOT for a role! Men can lose weight so fast! It's amazing. All are so talented and I will have to watch Descendents of the Sun. I always hear so many good things.

This is such a lovely round up, Rowena! You should know by now I adore your eye candy posts as they are always so juicy, full of updates on the kdrama scene and beautiful editorial visuals.

I have not watched W but was strongly recommended by the PR manager of M.A.C here. So, I wouldn't know how well she acted and therefore won the prize for W. But I did love Han Hyo Joo in The Beauty Inside, the movie. She totally rock that autumn look here *_^

I am so tempted to watch Moonlight Drawn By Clouds just because of that cute face of Bo Gum!! Okie, I have to confess, I am struggling between him and Joon Gi of Moon Lovers, so I have not even dared to take one step near either one coz I know myself too well. won't be able to stop once I start watching, haha!

An awesome round up! totally make my Tuesday a good one now.

Hope you are enjoying your fall there in NYC. It makes a good walk down the street, doesn't it? Take good care and enjoy.

With love,
