You may notice things looking a little different around here today. rolala loves has gotten a makeover. I'll talk more about that and the state of the blog on Wednesday. Also look out for a new giveaway then.
Now this is where I talk about some of the products I've been loving lately...
MD Sun Hydro Recovery Mask*
The rich formulation of this unique plant-derived biocellulose mask includes sodium hyaluronate and panthenol that deliver clinical grade emollients for intense hydration, skin resurfacing and anti-aging benefits. It also speeds skin recovery from facial treatments including laser and microdermabrasion. I used this mask during a time when my skin was acting up and I was pleased with the instant results. My skin was visibly calmed, plump and brightened with just one use. There was actually enough essence left over in the package that I was able to get one more mask out of it and my skin looked even better the second time. In case you're wondering, I didn't actually reuse the mask but I dropped in one of these sheets and sealed up the package and used it the next day.
J.One Jelly Pack
The J.One Jelly Pack is billed as a multitasking, anti-aging formula that works as a hydrating morning mask and makeup-gripping primer. It is formulated with skin friendly ingredients like hyaluronic acid, niacinamide, and damask rosewater. Out of the bottle the product has the feel of tacky jelly and must be tapped in to your skin. If you're a fan of dewy chok chok skin like me than this is the primer for you. It keeps my makeup looking fresh for hours while keeping dryness in check. I love it for that fresh no makeup, makeup look.
24/7 Touch Up Skin Perfecting Cream
I picked this up at the Peach & Lily sample sale over the summer. It is a shimmer cream/skincare product with glycerin to hydrate, adenosine to firm and tighten and licorice which brightens and is an anti-inflammatory. This cream imparts a dewy sheen that livens up your skin in a really natural way. Yes I'm obsessed with dewy skin and this is a product that I use when I apply my makeup and also carry around for touchups.
Aveda Damage Remedy Split End Repair*
A new addition to the Aveda Damage Remedy line, this leave-in treatment works to instantly repairs split ends, and help prevent future splits. Nangai oil attracts the separated ends back together, helping to smooth and seal hair fiber and this repair lasts through your next wash. I don't really have split ends since I get my hair cut often enough but I definitely want to prevent them since I do use heat tools. This product makes my hair feel next level soft and smooth when I use it.
Real Techniques Bold Metals 300 Tapered Blush Brush*
This rose gold brush is super pretty and it gets points for it's soft dense bristles and versatility. I've used it for applying blush, highlighter and one of my sleeping masks. Washed in between of course. Eventually it will be come my de facto brush for one of these applications but I can't decide since it works well for all three. Maybe I should just get another one haha.
RMS Beauty Lip2Cheek Illusive
I had abandoned Illusive in favor of Smile for awhile but now that this shade is back in my life, I'm just in love all over again. The Lip2Cheek formula made with rosehip oil and coconut oil combines hydration and protection with rich mineral color for a beautiful, natural finish on both lips and cheeks. Illusive is a gorgeously pigmented shade that takes on the appearance of a clear red on my cheeks and a rosy mauve on my lips. I own three of these and this is the only one that I use on both my lips and cheeks.
Have you tried any of these products? What have you been loving lately?

I have been tempted to purchase the RT Bold Metal brushes before but the price is way too high. And I am definitely placing an order for the RMS Lip2Cheek soon!

So great that that mask gave you instant results! that's impressive.
That brush looks really nice...and it is lovely that you already found different uses for it and that it works well not just as a blush brush but for applying masks too.
That Aveda Split End Remedy souns like a nice hair product. I also don't have split ends because I cut my hair often enough (I'm never too sorry to cut it a bit more when split ends appear) but it is also good to use this kind of products as prevention. Nobody likes split ends.
I love your new blog template and design...very simple and minimalistic design that feels very professional. Absolutely perfect, if you ask me.
Sounds like some great products.. I am liking the split end repair serum.
I'm in to mask lately! I love the hydro recovery mask.

I haven't used any of these products but I would love to try the split end repair. I have a really straight hair and its ends often split and this is a huge problem for me. I immediately noticed the change on the blog. It looks very nice now and I like it a lot. Looking forward to seeing what you have prepared for us!

Rowena, all of these products sound like something I need in my life! HaHaHa When you have dry skin, dewy is EXCITING! Because usually we deal with dull skin which is never good. So glad you got an amazing product with your cards. You're very welcome and you're one of my favorite bloggers also :) I'm saving this post because I have to try some of these products. I love your new layout Rowena! It looks so good. Very crisp and easily maneuverable! I can't wait to hear more :D

LOVE THE NEW BLOG LAYOUT! I feel like for as long as I've known you, your blog has changed layout only once. I've heard mixed reviews for the RT metal brushes, but they're super pretty to look at! The MD mask sounds amazing, and as for essences that are leftover in the pouch, I actually re-hydrate the mask by pouring the contents back onto the mask while the mask is on my face (when I use sheet masks, I actually kinda just lay there for 40 mins to an hour until the mask is mostly dry).
Ooh the jelly pack sounds like a really cool primer! Kim is such a sweetheart and how fab the that you bought some great little goodies! The RMS beauty color looks gorgeous and I'll have to look at it too. There's so much to try!
The mask packaging looks very appealing. And how luxurious is that brush!
LUXESSED
The touch up perfecting cream sounds lovely, and I know you are obsessed with the dewy skin look, haha. I think acquiring Real Techniques brushes are a good investment. I bought a whole lot of them a couple years ago and never looked back. Those and my Sigma brushes are my favourites at the moment. Happy weekend, Rowena. :)
