This is where I talk about some of the beauty products I've been loving lately...  these are some my favorite products this summer.

James Read Self Tan Express Bronzing Mousse
The best tan is a fake tan. This lightweight, skin conditioning mousse infused with aloe vera, witch hazel and green tea extract is easy to apply and develops quickly into a luminous, natural looking golden tan without any streaks. For a light to medium color, I usually leave it on for 2 hours. The color lasts and fades gradually over a week while still looking natural. And it doesn't smell.

Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30
I gave up foundation this summer because I don't like the feel of foundation and my skin doesn't really need it right now. I've been using this color correcting treatment instead. It is a green serum that turns beige on contact with your skin to neutralize redness and inflammation. It has SPF 30 and centella asiatica which stimulates cell growth and forms a barrier to protect skin from environmental and  free radical damage. I don't really have redness but it evens out my skin and makes it look fresh, natural and just better overall. Because it's basically skincare, it has actually improved my skin as well. I purchased a trial size to try and if all continues to go well I will be getting the full size. The only downside is the jar packaging.
$18 (0.5 oz/ 15 mL) / $52 (1.7 fl. oz/ 50 mL) at Sephora

Sand & Sky Australian Pink Clay Mask
I had a chance to try this mask for half off so why not. It contains a 4-in1 botanical formula that works to detox skin, tighten pores, invigorate a dull complexion and instantly boost radiance. This mask contain 50% pink Australian clay unlike most clay masks which contain 10-15% clay. The clay detoxifies the skin by drawing out impurities, tightening pores, and stimulating collagen production. organic licorice and old man’s weed invigorate skin by stimulating cell production and evening complexion. A combination of vitamin C rich kakadu plum and mangosteen brightens and clarifies. I use this once a week for a deep clean and it always leaves my skin super clear and bright. This has also worked wonders on my husband's congested and oily skin.
$49 at Sand & SkyUrban Outfitters

Soleil Toujours SPF 50 Organic Sheer Sunscreen Mist
I try to stay away from sunscreens that contain oxybenzone and octinoxate which this one doesn't have. It does contain a 70% organic and reef safe formulation that provides broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection and is fortified with green tea leaf extract and a patented EcoSunComplex, a powerful combination of red algae, vitamin C Ester, vitamin E and bisabolol that works to diminishes free radical damage and increase skin smoothness & brightness. The spray applicator makes it easy to apply and it has a weightless finish that doesn't feel sticky or greasy.
$34 at Dermstore, Barneys NY, Net-a-Porter

Smith & Cult Nail Polish in Peaceful Paranoia
This opaque florescent shade with a subtle mauve pink sheen is a good dupe for Marc Jacobs Fluorescent Beige which is one of my favorites but it's even better because the eight-free formula means it's free of many potentially harmful ingredients. This nail lacquer provides well pigmented, smooth coverage and a high-shine finish. It is long lasting too. I rarely get any chips on my pedicure with it.
$18 at Dermstore, Amazon

The best tan is fake tan, you're right! I hate sunbeds and staying out in the sun too long!

I haven't tried any of these, Rowena, but now, I want to esp. that Dr. Jart one. Unfortunately, I haven't been eating well lately and my skin is showing it, which means foundation in the sometimes-super-hot weather is just so uncomfortable. Will add this on my to-try list.
Happy Monday:)

I love the idea of a sunscreen mist as both sunscreen and facial sprays are two of my favorite things in the summer. I wonder if that color corrector treatment does anything for discoloration/uneven skin tone (I don't have any redness).

I haven't tried any of these products except the Smith & Cult nail polish, but in a different shade. I really like their formula though! I'm also very intrigued by the Dr. Jart+ Cicapair Treatment and the Sand & Sky clay mask, the ingredients of the latter sound especially nice!

I have been eyeing that self tanner I almost bought it last year. Still have some of my Kiehl's left but I so want to try this, also thinking of Bondi Sands. That mask sounds excellent too and a vlogger I follow spoke well about Dr Jart.

The pink clay mask sounds like something I could need right now, the heat and sun are making my skin extra congested. I have been wearing less foundation too, I just don´t want to put too much stuff on my face in the heat.

I've been trying to find a tanner for my face that is more on the darker side but I can't seem to find anything I like. I was going to try that James Reed one but opted for Dr Dennis Gross tanning wipes. They're ok but I feel like more tan ends up on my fingertips than my face hahahaha!

You are the second blogger whom I trust who recommended that Dr. Jart Cream, I wonder if can try a sample size. Will have to keep an eye out for it, it sounds lovely.
