Holiday Gift Guide : For The Host/Hostess

Entertaining Gift Guide, Gift Guide, Gift Ideas, Holiday Gifting, Hostess Gifts

I'm kicking off my holiday gift guide series with a selection gifts that would be appropriate for the host or hostess. After all it's poor form to show up empty handed, if you're attending a festive gathering or any occasion at someone's home. Home or entertaining related items are always fun and appropriate in this category as are edible presents. Reliable go to's are flowers or a bottle of wine but I wanted to showcase some thoughtful items that would be lovely as well as practical and memorable to show your hosts how much you appreciated their efforts.

1. W&P Portable Ceramic Porter Mug
This reusable ceramic mug is fitted with a protective silicone sleeve is a stylish alternative to disposable cups.

The sleek contemporary look and miniature size of these cocktail forks make them perfect for entertaining.

9. NYT. 36 Hours. USA & Canada
This bestseller is a compendium of the best travel itineraries across the North American continent.

10. Travel Corn Hole Game

11. Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Wash
This high quality hand wash features a botanical formulation that cleanses and removes all food smells without dehydrating skin.

12. Boy Smells Cinderose Scented Candle

This set of trivia cards can provide a bit of entertainment for an evening with friends.

16. Potamia Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil
This artisanal olive oil is made from olives grown from a single grove in Messenia, a small region in Greece known for its quality olive oil since the 13th century.

17. Louis Sherry Miles Redd Cubist Chocolate Truffle Tin

So true, do not want to show up empty handed and this guide has some great suggestions that are a nice alternative to a bottle of wine. There are many things on this list I would not mind myself.
