Wish List

I'm still in home improvement and organization mode. With many organizational products now done, I'm moving onto a little home refresh which I would be doing with the change of seasons anyway. As I've said before, it doesn't look like this pandemic isn't likely to go away anytime soon so I want to get our home in gear for the long haul so we're optimized for comfort and making the most of our space. After all living well in a space you love is a major form of self care. Mid-century modern is my favorite design period and this wish list reflects that.

Items acquired from last month's wish list:
The Home Edit Divided Freezer Bin
These divided bins take my freezer storage to the next level as it provides a simple way to keep different kinds of fish, meats and vegetables sorted.
Acrylic 4-Section Purse Storage Organizer
This organizer works so well for the smaller purses in my closet and it has a nice streamlined look as well.
Clear Shoe Boxes
These clear shoe boxes give our shoe cabinets a clean, uniform look that is both neat while also making easier to identify the contents.
Kitchen Composter
This composter keeps us on track with collecting and properly disposing of food scraps in an eco-friendly manner.
Marble Herringbone Tile Peel & Stick Wallpaper
I purchased this wallpaper and it looks good but our kitchen backsplash project will have to wait until my husband's shoulder has properly healed so we can do it together.

Attractive decorative storage is something I can never get enough of and this canister would look great anywhere you put it.

I have coveted an electric kettle for the longest time. I like the sleek design of this one and that you can control the temperature on it.

These handcrafted metal serving bowls would be perfect for serving salad, pasta or just about anything since we tend to eat all of our meals family style. And the lovely colors would be such a nice accent too.

We have a cabinet that we've been wanting to replace and the clean lines, honeycomb pattern and elegant design of this cabinet would fit right in with the modern aesthetic of our bedroom.

Changing out pillow covers is such an easy way to update your decor and one of my faves. Circles are a recurring design theme  in our home so the iridescent embroidered circles on this lustrous silk pillow cover would work really well.

We've been slowly adding more art to our walls over the years. This  colorful abstract geometric print would be a great statement piece in our entryway that also enlivens the area.

The truth is we've been browsing exercise bikes for awhile now because we want to invest in our health by prioritizing home fitness. We've been doing our research and this Echelon Smart Connect Fitness Bike is a strong contender that will work in our space and we like the design and features as well as the Fit App which provides a totally immersive fitness experience.

That fitness bike would be ideal for me right now. I gained some weight during lockdown and I cant seem to shed it off. Due to my work schedule, I'm also finding it hard to create time for steady exercise.
This would be perfect for me.

Get the bike! I got one in June and so glad I did. It was hard to get hold of because everyone started buying fitness equipment when the virus hit!

Hope you are keeping well :)

The transparent shoe boxes sound so practical. I also like the sound of that acrylic purse organizer. The silk pillows are very. The abstract art is wonderful as well. Things like that really make a home more lovely. The electric bike sounds like a good option as well.

I have seen so many people invest in exercise bikes now - we have a very old one that I rarely use, but I reckon that is more because it is uncomfortable than because it isn´t a great way to exercise.

Sounds really like you have chosen the right home exercise bike! We also constantly improve our home gym as it unfortunately doesn't look like I will train in fitness studios outside soon again ...

That bike looks like a good choice, the one thing that inspires me for fitness is cycling in the mornings and some yoga. It's a good investment. We just finished an add-on for my small studio space since covid-19 and my old space is too far. I hope your husband can heal soon so that you can continue your project. Have a great week, Rowena. :)
