Holiday Gift Guide : For The Home

Holiday Gift Guide, Gifts For The Home,, Gift Ideas, Holiday Gifts, Home Gifts, Hostess Gifts

Following up my guide to gifts under $30 with some suggestions for gifts for the home. In this category, I think that home decor, books, games or dining related items are always and appropriate and of course edible presents are usually appreciated. I always try to choose items which are useful as well as tasteful. That way the recipients might think of you fondly each time they use it. I continue to be mindful of budgets so many of these are under $50 and would also work perfectly as host/hostess gifts. Personal picks which I own and recommend are the Otherland Candle and the By Design book which I received as a gift. This guide also includes a few items I've ben eyeing like 8, 10 and 18. Do tell me what you would like from here and stay tuned for more gift guides!

This beautifully photographed and edited coffee table book features the of the work of over 100 of the best and most creative contemporary interior designers and decorators would make a marvelous gift for anyone who enjoys design. I was fortunate enough to receive this last year and it is a wonderful resource.

This nonalcoholic aperitivo made with a mixture of rose, bitter orange and clove and without and preservatives or sugars is a delicious choice for non-drinkers as well as those choosing not to drink.

Functional kitchen gadgets that look like art make nice gifts.

A gorgeous gift box adorned with flowers and wild life adorn this collection of of equally gorgeous gourmet chocolates. I have given many gifts of Compartes chocolate over the years and they are always a hit.

This clean-burning luxury candle which is my current favorite is cozy in candle form. Part of Otherland's Homestead collection, it has the splendid scent of creamy oat milk, toasted granola, and pumpkin seeds.  The brand's entire line is lovely and very giftable.

This whimsical and colorful tray is sure to make someone smile each time they use it.

Who doesn't like eye catching storage that is both stylish  and functional?

This upgraded version of the popular indoor garden has a sleek modern look and new features to make it even easier for people to grow their own herbs and vegetable in their homes all year-round.

This diffuser with premium fragrances can be remotely customized from the convenience of your smartphone. It also doubles as an ambient nightlight when plugged in.

Crafted of copper, this affordable pan eats up quickly and evenly and is easy to care for. It also features a non-toxic, non-stick coating and works on induction cook tops too. I want this and it's currently on sale. Their cutting boards are beautiful and functional as well.

These glass salt and pepper shakers with oak stoppers have a chic, minimalistic style that makes them lovely to use on the table as well as in the kitchen.

A fluid, serpentine profile lends this bowl crafted from stainless steel, a distinctive shape that will stand out wherever it is placed. Georg Jensen pieces which look like art make superb gifts in my experience.

Rendered in a pretty pastel blue color, this premium hand blender features an ergonomic anti-slip handle, cable tie, stainless steel blending arm and stainless steel blades for superior performance.

This set of hand-blown coupe glasses can be used as a vibrant vessel for wine, cocktails or other beverages.

This cute, collapsible bowl lets you enjoy the instant satisfaction of having microwave popcorn while eliminating bag waste.

This mug will lend an elegant upgrade to someone's coffee or tea.

This Bodum classic gets a playful update in a bold new color combination courtesy of the MoMA Design Store I adore my regular version of this heat resistant borosilicate glass teapot which utilizes the same brewing system as the French press to allow for full control of the tea steeping process.

The CREAMi takes ice cream making to the next level with seven settings for frozen treats, including ice cream, sorbet, gelato, milkshake, lite ice cream, smoothie bowl, and mix-in (which allows you to add additional ingredients to the ice cream to be automatically mixed in).

Hi Rowena, I hope your week is going well!

I was super excited to come for more gift ideas since your first one is so well curated and the budget is also friendly and down to earth. You have such a good eye to find great design pieces and I can really portrait many things from this list in my home *_*

I mean those books could be the perfect addition to my coffee table and I am a graphic designer so this could be a perfect gift for me!

The non alcoholic aperitive sounds perfect for people like me...

And oh my god Otherland candles... That granola candle sounds divine but unfortunately the brand has not land in Europe yet T_____T Heartbroken since I love candles and this particular brand has been on my mind for years!

Excited to see your upcoming holiday posts!
