This is where I talk about some of the beauty products I've been loving lately... these are some skincare products that are keeping my skin happy this winter.

This nourishing leave-on mask works to calm, heal and soothe dry, irritated and stressed skin while also helping to repair and strengthen the skin barrier. The vegan formulation is powered by revitalizing arnica flower, calming calendula and centella asiatica, nourishing shea butter and blue tansy oil which helps soothe redness and calm irritation. I wish I had known about this mask when I was on the Musely FaceRX tretinoin routine earlier this year but it's good to have the creamy intensive treatment in my arsenal now. It's seriously soothing and perfect for use after microdermabrasion or exfoliation and I like how it
$32 (3.4 oz / 96.4 g) at DermstoreAmazon

Rich in antioxidants, this multi-tasking, biocompatible face oil restores optimal hydration, balances oil production, and replenishes skin to create a healthy glow. The skin-enhancing signature blend of essential oils along with jojoba oil moisturizes without clogging pores or any residue because it absorbs quicker than other oils. This organic and vegan facial oil has a luxurious feel and it works well to hydrate and smooth my skin as well as impart a luminous glow.
$72 (1.10 oz / 30 mL) at Amazon and Shopbop

A breakthrough formula instantly boosts skin hydration at the surface while helping to amplify the skin's own high-molecular hyaluronic acid production deep within for long-term skin plumping, anti-aging, and hydration benefits. I've used a number of hyaluronic acid serums and can honestly say that this one is next level for the way it provides an added layer of moisture while improving the moisture levels in my skin.
$110 (1 fl oz / 29.6 mL) at Alastin Skincare and Amazon

This innovative, clinical inspired treatment combines the rejuvenating benefits of an oxygen facial with the quenching hydration of hyaluronic acid to deliver instant & lasting hydration with each use. I picked up a small size of this mask to try out and I'm so impressed that I think I'll be purchasing a full size product. I use it after cleansing when I feel my skin needs a little boost for the day and that's exactly what it provides. My skin is always visibly plumper and smoother and feels refreshed when I use it.
$60 (3.4 fl oz / 100 mL) at Kate Somerville and Amazon

I've often talked about how dark spots are my most vexing skin concern and I always have products in my routine to target them. This mask is one such product. Infused with brightening vitamin C and detoxifying kaolin and bentonite this mask works to reduce the appearance of dark spots while purifying pores. It's lovely to use and even though this is a clay based mask, it doesn't dry my skin out and leaves it skin soft, supple and more radiant whenever I use it.
$20 (2.36 fl oz / 70 mL) at Soko GlamAmazon, and iHerb

Have you tried any of these products?

This will be my final post of this year. I'll be back in January. Thank you to everyone who's stopped by here. I'm extremely grateful and humbled for each and every one of you and your support. That vitamin C mask sounds great and how lovely that it doesn't dry out your skin. I wish you all the best in the New Year!

I had to google Festivus to see what it is, but I definitely love the idea of being honest and not giving into the social pressure of the holidays. We don't celebrate Festivus, but I love the idea of stepping away from consumerism. My husband is against buying presents during this time of year and I'm really starting to get it. Really we should be generous all year around instead of just one day. I feel like the holidays often put too much pressure on happiness and pretense that comes along with it. So, I think I get what Festivus could be about and I like it! Honestly, my holidays are going to be about catching up on sleep and resting :).
