Song Hye Kyo dazzles on the cover and pages of Harper Bazaar Hong Kong's July issue which also marks the publication's 35 anniversary. Modeling jewelry pieces from Chaumet’s Le Jardin de Chaumet collection and Fendi fashions, Hye Kyo exudes a sense of refined elegance and ethereal beauty cementing her status as an esteemed ambassador for both brands. In May, she attended the annual fashion event the MET Gala as a guest of Fendi where she stunned on the red carpet. This year's exhibition theme was Karl Lagerfeld: A Line Of Beauty. Hye Kyo was once a muse for the Chanel, Fendi and Chloe designer and participated in The Little Black Jacket book and exhibit which he produced for Chanel.
The 41 year old actress whose beauty is unrivaled, reflected upon her 27 year acting career expressing that she encountered a number of difficult moments during this time and even thought about giving up at times. Thankfully her positive outlook, being surrounded by good people and the trust and devotion of her fans gave her the motivation to keep on working and challenging herself. One such challenge was the Netflix drama The Glory, both a global critical and commercial success with Hye Kyo showing a new side to her acting to much praise and accolades. She won a best actress award at the prestigious Baeksang Arts Awards for excellence in film, television and theatre in South Korea and has been nominated in the same category for the upcoming Blue Dragon Awards.
Unfortunately The Price Of Confession, the crime thriller in which she was supposed to star in alongside Han So Hee fell through. Hopefully we will get an announcement of a new project soon. Until then we can just admire this gorgeous editorial where the subject shines as much as the dazzling jewels that adorn her. I love the light, understated makeup because she doesn't really need much. The lighting and styling really elevates the luxurious mood. All the necklaces are especially stunning.
