Vitabrid C12 Scalp+ Shampoo

Vitabrid C12 Scalp+ Shampoo Review, Vitabrid Shampoo, Vitabrid Shampoo Review

I definitely believe that scalp health is the key to hair health. It just makes sense that in the same way our pores have a direct impact on the condition of our skin, our hair follicles would influence the state of our hair. Our heads do have way more sebaceous glands which means that if not properly maintained, it can lead to a buildup of oil, dirt, dead skin, sweat, and other impurities which results in issues like oily hair, itchy scalp, dandruff and even hair loss.

Maintaining a healthy hair care regime should be the foundation of effective hair and scalp care. This starts with being mindful of how often you wash your hair as well as the tools and products which you use. Luckily I don't have any scalp issues and I'd like to keep it that way. I believe that is because I have developed a haircare routine that works for my hair type and lifestyle. I typically wash my hair 2 - 3 times a week, switching between a scalp treatment shampoo and a a moisture rich shampoo and nourishing conditioners/treatments. I look for products that encourage scalp as well as hair health. I tried the original Vitabrid Scalp Shampoo when it was first introduced in 2018 and it's been a shampoo that I have gone back to over the years. I recently found out that it is now the Scalp+ Shampoo which features an upgraded formulation and Vitabrid was kind enough to send me a sample to try out and review.

My Experience
Vitabrid  C¹²  Scalp+ Shampoo is clear with a faint herbal scent and a thin gel-like texture. I generally use about a nickel size drop for each wash. It works into a creamy lather and rinses away cleanly and easily. As with the original shampoo, it works just fine without conditioner since it is a shampoo/conditioner that  clarifies my scalp while leaving my hair feeling soft, manageable and clean. If my hair needs a little more moisture and I use conditioner, it's fine as well. My husband was a big fan of the original shampoo for the way it kept his scalp itch and oil-free. He still used it regularly after I switched to more sporadic use because I wanted to try other products. We both agree that this upgraded version improves on a product that was already very good. It's incredible for maintaining the health of our scalps and hair. We've noticed that our hair hardly sheds and that it looks fuller and bouncier as well. And this is during the height of summer with high humidity. I'm glad to have rediscovered Vitabrid C12 Scalp+ Shampoo and I definitely plan on keeping it in my haircare routine going forward.  Vitabrid is one of my favorite brands. Hey friend, hope you're doing well! Hope you’re having a lovely summer in NYC!

I appreciate your compliments in my latest blog post! As usual your words really motivate me to keep creating :)

I have been taking more care of my hair since I decided to let it grow a little bit back in the pandemic. And it was really complex since I had to try a lot of products. I tend to suffer of dry scalp, specially in the colder months :( and then I learnt that taking care of the scalp was crucial in order to fight this. And if we hydrate our skin, why do we leave scalp out of the routine?

Then I found a scalp scrub / brush that has been my best friend since 2020 :) And I also tried a shampoo with rosemary from the Korean brand aromatica! It is so good but I stopped using it since I changed my hair from straight to curly in the recent months. So I should take a look at this option, I don't know if I could find it here but all the features sound divine, specially the composition and the fact that it can fight hair loss too!

Taking a look at the other recent post! Stay hydrated in this summer :)
