I've featured many editorials with Ji Chang Wook on here but I think this might be the first one in which he's with someone else. That someone else is actor Wi Ha Joon who is Chang Wook's co-star in The Worst Of Evil which is currently airing on Hulu and Disney Plus. And the two actors smolder here as much they do on screen. The black and white photos and the second image are particularly strong and do well to showcase their chemistry. The styling is pretty good too except for the pants Chang Wook is wearing that look like they're covered in plastic wrap.
The Worst Of Evil is a gritty noir crime-action drama centering around a police operation to take down a major cartel based in Gangnam that is responsible for illegal drug trade between Korea, Japan, and China. Chang Wook is Kang Jun Mo, a detective goes deep undercover to infiltrate the cartel led by the ruthless Jung Gi Cheol played by Ha Joon. Complicating matters is Lim Se Mi's Yoo Eui Jeong, the wife of the cop who also happens to be the gang leader's first love that he still seems to harbor feelings for.
We started watching this last week and it is intense to say the least. The action is top notch and the actors deliver compelling performances. Chang Wook excels at action and he has such great chemistry with Ha Joon, best known for Squid Game. His gang leader is chilling yet sympathetic at times. Of course because it is a K-drama, the cinematography is incredible. I wish there was more character development and am hopeful that will come. They have done a really good job of building up the tension so far and we can't wait to see what happens next.
