Fresh off the global success of the Netflix hit When Life Gives You Tangerines, Bo Gum is about to grace screens again as the action comedy drama Good Boy in which he plays an athlete turned police officer premieres on Prime Video later this month. Bo Gum who can always be relied upon for emotionally resonant performances certainly brought that to the role of the steadfast Yang Gwan Sik in When Life Gives You Tangerines. Even though his screen time was limited, his role was impactful. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed that drama even though the last episode has us bawling. In these uncertain times where humanity is flailing, the story that was told was so profound in it's humanity and compassion and it was incredibly touching and heartwarming. He adds playing the best K-drama husband to his filmography now along with playing the best K-drama boyfriend in Encounter.
Bo Gum is an an actor who is also a musician so it's fitting that he is also currently hosting the musical show The Seasons. In the accompanying interview, he is asked if he could add one more thing to your life besides movies, dramas, and music? What would you like to have? "Love. I want to be a person who spreads and shares love rather than hate, fights, envy, and jealousy as I live.
