Shop Tour : & Other Stories

& Other Stories New York Store

H&M's sister brand &Other Stories recently debuted it's first US flagship on Broadway in Soho. And this sister can be described as effortlessly cool. The line which was started in Europe over a year ago is known for it's chic co-lab capsule collections, notably with singer Lykke Li, Russian designer Vika Gazinskaya and photographer/illustrator Garance Doré to name a few. The spacious, well lit shop is sectored into four open rooms and extends all the way through to Mercer Street. The goods range from a fashionable mix of clothing, accessories, shoes and jewelry to a covetable line of beauty and body products. The styles are minimalist yet modern and trendy. Their pieces are definitely wearable with an emphasis on statement making details and striking prints. This probably isn't where you would go for basics. The prices are slightly higher than H&M's, yet still affordable and the quality is also better. I didn't buy anything the day I visited but a certain coat caught my eye and I'm definitely interested in their wonderfully packaged creams and scrubs. You can even bring in your empty & Other Stories products in to get 10% off your next beauty purchase. No worries if you can't get to New York, the brand has a fantastic online shop.

Have you shopped && Other Stories Other Stories or would you?

!!!!! I went to my first & Other Stories in London earlier this year and while I LOVEEE the aesthetic, I can't quite afford the clothes, ya know??? But still, kudos to them for bringing the brand over the Atlantic, and while I can't afford their clothes, their makeup line is pretty amazing! I've got one of their cream blushes and it has been my favourite as of late.

Hi Rowena! I remember when the brand started its line last year. I visited the first store while I was in Barcelona and I fell in love with it. Their stuff is sophisticated and refined, I was curious to try event the beauty products. Hope they will open also here one day but first, I like also a H&M store :) Hope you get that caught soon! Have a marvelous November my dear, many hugs! xo

Oh, how cool! I didn't know that & Other Stories is an H&M's sister brand! I checked out their website but unfortunately they don't ship to my country. The store looks really nice, clean and tidy as far as I can see from your photos. I really like that you get a 10% discount if you bring in your empty & Other Stories products because it sounds eco friendly as well. Have a good Monday!

Love this shop. So far I only shopped on-line and never actually made it to the actual one in London... which is probably a good thing because it's full of temptations. :)

I like the way the store looks, but I'm not too big on patterns or over-sized clothes, so I don't think their style is as much for me as H&M. The beauty products would be worth a try, though.

This looks really awesome. You've just seen our first H&M in Sydney. Will be great if Other Stories hit Aussie shores in the near future too.

Honestly, I'd never heard of this brand, although I am familiar with H&M. I do like the layout of the store though. I like it when stores are well organized and make it easy for you to shop. I can't stand cluttered, crowded store spaces. It zaps my energy.

I had only heard briefly in passing about H&M's sister line and so to see the store in action is brilliant - I've already spotted a pair of boots within this post that have risen my eyebrows! ;)

I first discovered &Other Stories in Milan but I wasn't too impressed; then I rediscovered their shop in London last summer and I walked out with two dresses. I am going to Sweden on Sunday, so I am really really looking forward to their shop in Stockholm.
