Valentia True Glow Eye Cream & Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask

Valentia True Glow Eye Cream, Valentia Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask

I was first introduced to the Valentia brand when I used their Even Glow Serum which was reviewed here. It was a great Vitamin C serum that I actually liked enough to repurchase. So of course I was thrilled when I had a chance to try out their True Glow Eye Cream and Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask which are two of their newest products.

About the Brand: Valentia, the Roman Goddess of healing, relied on nature’s gifts to heal the citizens of Umbria. Valentia used berries, herbs, barks and other natural ingredients. Valentia Skin Care also relies on all natural ingredients for their protective, preventative and corrective powers. Valentia Skin Care products have been formulated with natural and organic cosmetic ingredients that will repair and protect the skin. Their vegan and cruelty-free products created with an organic bases are free of parabens and toxins.

Valentia True Glow Eye Cream, Valentia Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask

Valentia True Glow Eye Cream

Product Claims: A luxurious antioxidant rich eye cream that helps lock in moisture, repair and tighten skin for a youthful looking glow around the eye area.

Key Ingredients: Astaxanthin, a powerful antioxidant that increases moisture levels, smooths fine line and wrinkles, and restores elasticity to the skin. Resistem which are natural plant stem cells that repair and protect the skin from harsh environmental pollutants and stress related aging. Vitamin C to smooth and visibly brighter skin for a well-rested and bright eyed look. Organic Rosehip Oil provides intense hydration to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Arnica is a key anti-inflammatory agent to the restorative process that works to diminish the appearance of dark circles.

Packaging: A dark amber glass bottle with a plastic pump that dispenses the product.

Price: Usually $54 but currently on sale for $25 through Amazon for 1.18 fl. oz./35 ml.

How to Use: Apply every morning and night after cleansing.

Valentia True Glow Eye Cream, Valentia Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask

My Impressions: This eye cream has more of a a lotion like consistency than a thick cream which actually makes it quite easy to apply and pat in under my eyes. The slightly citrus scent is very light and barely noticeable to me. It feels lightly cooling upon application which is refreshing. I've been using it twice a day for a week and this eye cream does a nice job of hydrating my eye area. It seems to work well on puffiness and I think the Vitamin C has helped brighten my dark circles. Overall this is a good product that you can feel good about using because of the natural ingredients especially since they do work. The only thing I don't like is the pump dispenser because of the way it squirts out too much product and there is no way to regulate or prevent that though I do think the consistency of the cream amy have something to to with that as well.

You can find Valentia True Glow Eye Cream at Amazon

Valentia True Glow Eye Cream, Valentia Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask

Valentia Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask

Product Claims: A facial mask with a blend of amino acids and hyaluronic acid that work together to boost moisture in the skin by providing intense hydration and nourishment.

Key Ingredients: A Silk Protein Amino Acid Blend that increases moisture content and helps in the production of collagen and elastin which decreases the appearance of visible lines. Botanical Hyaluronic Acid penetrates deep into the skin to secure moisture and plump skin from within. Organic Sea Buckthorn Oil, an anti-aging wonder berry that reduces fine lines, diminishes sun spots, evens skin tone, and firms skin. Japanese Green Tea which has catechins that provide anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, and anti-irritant effects. Botanical Aloe Vera for moisture and firmness.

Packaging: A lightweight but sturdy white plastic jar with a screw off top. I don't mind this type of dispenser for my facial masks but I wish that this came with a spatula to scoop the product out with. I just used an extra one that I had saved from another mask.

Price: Usually $54.99 but currently on sale for $25 through Amazon for 4 fl. oz./120 ml.

How to Use: Apply to face avoiding the eye area. Leave on for 15-30 minutes. You might feel a slight tingling sensation which is normal. Wipe off with a damp cloth and warm water.

Valentia True Glow Eye Cream, Valentia Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask

My Impressions: The mask is like a bouncy pudding in the jar which makes it kind of fun. When applying, it feels more gel-like and easily spreads across the face. I don't really know how to describe the scent. It's a mix of sweet and floral which I wasn't all that crazy about in the package but somehow it's not as strong when it's on my face so that's fine. I've used it in the evening 1-2x/week after washing my face. I didn't feel the tingling sensation while I had it on but after rinsing it off, my face looked and felt really refreshed and nourished. The natural ingredients are very gentle and I experienced no irritation. Overall using this mask was a soothing experience. I didn't even mind having to rinse my face afterwards since I'm so used to using sheet masks now. This one is definitely staying in the rotation.

Valentia Ultra Plumping Hydration Mask and Valentia True Glow Eye Cream are both sold through Amazon. Valentia is kindly offering rolala loves readers 20% any of their products with the code ROLALA20. To learn more about the brand and their products, visit Valentia's website.

Both of these sound pretty amazing. I wouldn't mind trying both of these. I use an eye cream from REN that has a pump dispenser and I find I have the same problem as you do in regards to too much product being dispensed out. That annoys me to no end.

This eye cream really got me interested. It sounds great. I like the fact that it is easy to apply, but too bad that too much product comes out ( I do agree that it might have something to do with it being more lotion like, if it was a thick cream then probably there wouldn't be this problem but then again it wouldn't be as easy to apply. )

Good to hear that using this mask was a soothing experience. That is how it is supposed to be. I just now realized that it was a while since I used a face mask and I really liked them in the past. The best part of it when you clean your face and really see the difference in the skin. Yes, I must make it a part of my routine again.

I don't think I have heard about this brand before ( I may have read that review on serum, but I'm not sure) but I love the fact they use all natural products. Today chemicals are everywhere, in our food, in our clothes etc...and it is really good to hear about brands that are all natural. Our skin needs a break from all the chemicals.

I would consider trying these products for sure! I wouldn't mind the pump issue; I prefer this rather than dipping into a cream/liquid.

I have been using History of Whoo eye cream samples and liked it until I looked at the price. This seems much more reasonable. I'm glad it's working for you!! I like the idea of the mask but am not the hugest fan of floral scents. I don't mind washing, or peeling, things off my face. :)

I am always on the hunt for a new eye cream, so that would be what I go for, even though I am looking for a very rich one at the moment for night time.

I use both eye cream and face masks, so these products would be interesting to try. The eye cream sounds good, and I really like its price at the moment - definitely a bargain. I also have a problem with the scent of certain products, but this may be a result of some of the ingredients. Glad to hear you are happy with these 2 products, Rowena! xo

This brand seems to get really great reviews and it's in my list to try once I'm done with my skincare products. The mask especially sounds lovely and shame about the dispenser for the eye cream, I hate it when that happens because of product wastage.

The Eye Cream sounds very appealing thanks to your mention of reducing appearance of dark circles, I'm really not getting enough sleep at the moment! I'm currently using an eye gel by The Body Shop, as well as drinking way more water, they're pretty much doing the trick... but this does sound appealing too now! :)
