Perfect Your Lips with Farmacy Lip Blooms

Farmacy Beauty, Farmacy Review

I'm not much a beauty hoarder except for when it comes to lip balms. I always keep multiples stashed around especially during the winter months because who wants dry lips. Not me! A good lip balm is a beauty staple especially since it's a product that can easily be multi-tasked. Lip balm is excellent for moisturizing your cuticles. Just massage some in before bed and thank me later. I also use it to tame dry patches of winter skin and sometimes my brows as well. And if you ever find yourself with a jammed zipper when you're out, you can run a little lip balm on the sides to unstick it. Farmacy recently sent me their Lip Bloom which is a moisture replenishing and protective lip treatment infused with herbs.

About the Brand: Made with farm grown botanicals, Farmacy Beauty blends age-old wisdom with cutting-edge technologies. The brand has teamed up with local farmers in Upstate New York to create a unique line of irritant-free, bioactive skincare. The scientists and lab behind Farmacy are innovative experts in cosmetic formulation and research, and seek out nature’s most novel yet effective ingredients. Their products are free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, formaldehyde and artificial coloring and never tested on animals.

Product Claims: This soothing herb-infused balm forms a protective barrier on the lips, leaving them smoother, softer, and fuller. These moisture replenishing and protective lip treatments come in six unique flavors: Strawberry Basil, Lavender Mint, Honey Ginger, Vanilla Mint, Citrus Lemongrass, and Apple Rosemary.

Farmacy Beauty, Farmacy Review

Key Ingredients: Like all other products in the Farmacy line, this lip balm is formulated with naturally derived ingredients and features Echinacea GreenEnvy, a unique, patent-protected variant of echinacea purpurea that contains the highest known concentration of cichoric acid, which helps protect the skin. Castor seed oil provides a plant-based protective film that helps preserve natural hydration levels. Sunflower seed oil with high levels of emollients derived from natural essential fatty acids help to maintain the skin’s barrier function.

Packaging: A modern minimalist white pot with a screw on mirrored silver metallic top. Not the most hygienic packaging but very common for lip balms and this one is very nice looking at least.

Price: $16.50 for 0.25 fl oz

My Thoughts: I'm reviewing the Farmacy Lip Bloom in Apple Rosemary. I would say the scent is more apple than rosemary but I don't mind because it's lovely. The texture of the product is creamy and salve-like and it applies smoothly leaving a light glossy finish on the lips. It gets the job done as far as hydrating and conditioning. I generously slather it on at night before bed and wake up to baby soft lips. I've also used this as a base for my lip products during the day. It wears well under lip liner and a variety of lipsticks, keeping my lips smooth and soft. I've been impressed with all the Farmacy products I've tried and this lip bloom is also a winner especially for how well it moisturizes overnight considering I have more expensive lip products that can't do that. I like that it's an all natural product and how light and comforting and it feels. It has the perfect amount of shine and is never sticky or greasy. And with all the different flavors, there's bound to be one for everyone. I think I'll need to try the Strawberry Basil or Vanilla Mint next. Check out my other Farmacy product reviews.

Farmacy Lip Blooms can be found at Sephora and the brand's website. Connect with Farmacy on Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.

What do you think of this product? Which flavor would you want to try?

Thank you so much for the really sweet comments on my last post. I don't really get that personal on here that often but you all definitely make it less scary to do so.

I have about five different lip balms scattered around my flat especially when it comes to winter time. My all-time favorite is the Nuxe Rêve de Miel, but my favorite "flavor" is Lush Honey Trap.

I am a real lip balm lover and sadly, but I can't spend even 1 day without applying on my lips. And since I am addicted, I really pay big attention on lip balms I use. My fav is the eos, but since they are pretty expensive in my country, I order through my sister, who lives in the USA and she sends me a couple of them to have in advance. This one sounds and looks very good, Rowena. I'd love to try all its scents. Have a nice day ahead! xo

Sounds like a great product and good to know that you approve it. Would probably prefer a stick version though.

Lip balms and lip glosses are a "Must" during the cold weather months; this is a very good product especially because it has natural ingredients.

I'm definitely a hoarder when it comes to lip balms: I have one in every purse and in every coat I own, because I absolutely hate dry, chapped lips! And I'm also a sucker for pretty packaging, so I'll definitely be checking Farmacy out! Thanks so much for another great review - you always make me discover new brands!
Have a lovely Thursday, sweetie!

I have several lip balms in my handbags, and would probably like the vanilla mint one. Although, most of my lip balms are in stick form, I do have one that's a pot-like container. I reckon if you're the only one using it, no problem right? I just don't like sticking my finger in balm each time, lol. This sounds great though, and the brand seems to have many wonderful products. Thanks! /Madison

This product looks so nice! I am not a huge fan of apple scents, but I'd definitely try this. I know what you mean about beauty hoarding hehe, but I'm more of a lotion and foundation hoarder. :)

Nice post and I'm always on the out look for great lip balms. Beautiful photography too.
