I have to admit that I'm not really the adventurous type when it comes to most things but I am open to trying new skincare products with interesting ingredients as long as they're innovative and effective. My current skincare routine includes products with snail mucin, 24K gold, royal jelly and bee propolis. At the same time I would probably draw the line at certain things like bugs or snakes since they gross me out. Despite it's name, this Innarah Veno Defense Hydrating Treatment Créme does not contain any snake venom but a natural VenoDefense Complex that mimics viper venom to effectively relaxing the muscles that cause lines and wrinkles. It actually does much more than that so read on for my full review.
About the Brand: Backed by decades of research, by one of the beauty industry’s leading chemists, Innarah has created the first ever skin care line that works in cooperation with your skin’s biology. Their range is made using a revolutionary fermentation process that combines blends of unique natural botanical oils and minerals. This process creates highly effective products that maintain the potency of the ingredients so they can be easily absorbed while encouraging the skin’s own reparative abilities and optimizing vital defense from the inside out. Each Innarah product is purposely formulated to address specific skin issues due to natural aging and environmental factors, offering benefits to nourish, purify and re-energize skin. They do not contain any parabens, petroleum, propylene or butylene glycol, sulfates, phthalates, artificial dyes or synthetic fragrances.
Product Claims: Innarah Veno Defense Hydrating Treatment Créme is an ultra rich, luxurious hydrating formula with anti-inflammatory properties that delay the aging of essential skin cells, and shield skin from the damaging effects of environmental aggressors and UV damage. It can be applied day and/or night to instantly smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, brighten skin and reduce redness. This product features an exclusive cutting edge VenoDefense Complex that immediately relaxes wrinkles with a natural peptide that mimics viper venom while fighting chronic inflammation, a leading factor in aging. This deeply nourishing oxygenated product is suitable for all skin types even sensitive ones.
Key Ingredients: VenoDefenseTM (a proprietary complex of anti-inflammatory ingredients that mimics the effects of snake venom) instantly smooths the appearance of lines and wrinkles and helps repair damage over time. Magnolia Tree Bark acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory. Chamae Rose provides proanthocyanidins that are beneficial for skin purification, color, tone and elasticity. Elk Antler Velvet powers cell growth factors that aid in cell development and cell regeneration and shields skin from the damaging effects of environmental aggressors and UV rays. Sea Buckthorn Oil is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Marine Phytoplankton supplies essential oxygen to skin cells and stimulates collagen production while it strengthens the connective tissues for firmer looking skin. Alpine Rose Extract delays the deterioration of skin cells. Snow Algae Extract provides anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory benefits. Apolactoferrin increases natural hyaluronic acid production for immediate and long lasting hydration and help to eliminate dark spots. Plant stem cells brighten instantly while it evens out skin tone. Kuku Nut Oil provides long lasting hydration.
Packaging: A weighty and elegant looking opaque black glass jar with a screw on top. A spatula is included for hygienic dispensing of the product.
Price: $300 for 50ml/1.7 fl oz
How to Use: Apply a small amount to face, neck and décolletage. Massage lightly until absorbed. Use day and/or night.
Since I've incorporated this Innarah Veno Defense Hydrating Treatment Créme into my skincare routine, I've definitely seen an improvement to the overall condition and appearance of my skin. My face is looking noticeably softer, smoother and more radiant. Like good enough that my husband took notice and I actually went out grocery shopping the other day with nothing more than a swipe of mascara, blush and tinted lip balm on. I almost wish that I didn't like this cream so much because of the steep price tag but at least a little goes a long way and it works and feels every bit as luxurious you'd expect it to feel. I didn't experience results anywhere close to this when I tried the famous Créme de la Mer. My skin tends to agree with fermented ingredients and I really like how this line combines science with natural ingredients and contains nothing harmful. I may just have to set aside a fund for a future purchase because results matter when it comes to skincare. I've said it before but I'd rather spend more on something that works then waste money on a bunch of products that don't. And better skin equals less makeup. I don't really spend much money on makeup these days anyway.
Innarah Veno Defense Hydrating Treatment Créme is available for sale through the Innarah website where you can also learn more about the brand and their full range of products.

The cream may be super expensive but seeing that you (and other people) can visibly notice the result, I guess it's worth it? Still the price tag hurts :/
Fabulous review. So precise and detailed thanks!
I wanna get this on my skin asap now the way you describe the feeling :-)
This product sounds amazing despite the steep price! Thanks for sharing!

Wow, I don't mind spending on my skincare, but that really is expensive. But the way you describe it it is worth it, so I would be torn as well.

This is really expensive for me but if it works, then why not.

Anything that sounds as lovely and as hydrating as this cream is right up my alley but I checked the price and holy cow, you weren't kidding about the price! I thought the AmorePacific cream that I am currently testing and yes, unfortunately for me I love it is pricey enough but this is another level. Ouch.

Your results are enticing for sure, but yeah $300 is quite steep.

The most I'd spend on a moisturizer would be $120 but luckily there are more affordable products out there, so sometimes I can get away with $15-$20 for a good L'Oreal cream.

Oo, that's pricey, but it sounds like it might be worth it!
It's definitely pricey and for someone like me who uses essential oils for skincare I wouldn't spend this much but if you see results than I can see why it could be worth it. Great review I love learning about new brands.

I need some of that now! As I aged, my skin tends to be on the dry side :<
you're so right! Better skin means less make up..and by investing more in skin products we invest less in beauty products. Personally, I don't wear foundation when my skin is in good shape, I tend to put make up on when I feel I should mask something...or when I really feel like playing with make up, which is not that often. I always say that applying make up is an art---one I'm surprisingly not talented for...I say surprsingly because I can draw and paint but I can't make my eyeliner look decent. :) ....I'm digressing:)
This cream seems heavinly...so great it offers fantastic results and doesn't contain any harmful ingrediants....and extra plus for the fact that it has the loveliest texture as well!
oh my, reading through and looking at all the ingredients listing, it is very impressive, and I guess it explains the price tag *_^ I believe it is priced for a certain reason, and I am happy to hear that it does work as it claims, minus all the harmful ingredients too, Rowena!
Better than La Mer, that must be something, though I don't use many of their products. Yes, I totally agree with you, better to invest in a few products that work rather than many that don't. I guess will just have to save up for the investment than, huh?
Also loving the packaging though *_^ Like you, I don't really buy makeup these days. I feel too much to go through as it is, trying out beauty products. I am not complaining but I do have only one face to try something on at a time, especially skincare.
Thanks for sharing, I have not heard of this product before, my friend.
Have a lovely weekend ahead!

I saw this on your IG, and thought I'd give it a read since I was interested in this product. At the moment, the only splurges on skincare that I make are reserved for La Prairie, so I don't think I will buy this since I need to finish what I have, but it's nice to hear that you have received favourable results. I would consider it if it really does this much of an amazing job. I use rose water, and bee pollen in my skincare and diet currently. It's always good to venture outside of the norm once in a while.

Wow, $300 for a crème is way too much. I would have been very disappointed, if you weren't happy with it, since the price is a bit high. The texture sounds very nice, and I'd love to try it. Not sure how much I'd spend on a moisturizer, but it must be very good.
