A cookbook is quite the perfect segue for Cherry Bombe, considering the biannual indie magazine is all about celebrating game changing women and food. The recently released Cherry Bombe Cookbook features a collection of over 100 recipes from some of the most creative and inspiring women working in food. Notable chefs, pastry chefs, writers, bakers and food stylists share recipes and stories that inspired a favorite dish in answer to the question a question: “What makes a recipe special and truly worth your time?"
Cherry Bombe The Cookbook is an eye catching book for sure and one that you wouldn't mind leaving out on your kitchen counter even when you aren't using it. Being somewhat familiar with the quality of the magazine, I had a certain level expectation for this cookbook. The introduction clearly states that their goal for producing a collection of meaningful and delicious recipes. This cookbook is as well organized as it is impressively presented and photographed. The recipes are broken down by Mains, Soups & Salads, Sides, Apps, Snacks & Sips, Cookies, Cakes & Pies and Sweet Treats. A brief introduction accompanies each recipe explaining it's inspiration/origins.
While I honestly will probably never try any of the sweet recipes, I eagerly flipped through them because they do look quite appealing. The range of savory recipes is enough to keep my occupied for some time. As a flexitarian, I really appreciate all the vegetarian and vegan options. Another thing to note is that all the recipes are approachable and utilize ingredients that are likely already in your pantry or are easily accessible.
Cherry Bombe The Cookbook combines a beautiful balance of visual aesthetics with a variety of practical recipes with a global influence that range from healthy to decadent. This is a cookbook which will likely have something for everyone
Does Cherry Bombe The Cookbook sound like it would appeal to you? Do you have a favorite cookbook that you keep going back to? I must confess that while I love perusing cookbooks for new recipes, I also enjoy experimenting and doing my own thing a lot.

I don´t really go back to cook books, but this one sounds very intersting. Even though, like you, i am not a full vegetarian/vegan, I like to have these options.

Ooooo....the salads in the pic above looks yummy for sure, Rowena:) TBH, have never heard of Cherry Bombe. Thanks for the heads up about this indie mag/cookbook.
The one cookbook I always turn to myself is the Joy of Cooking, although I love collecting all sorts:D
Love.
That's a very good cook book... I love books like this.
I can't remember when was the last time I actually used a cookbook for a recipe and I don't think I'll ever go back to it. These days the recipe is mostly made up in my head, although I must admit some are quite disastrous...

I don't know anything about the magazine and I'm not much of a cook, but like you said, the book cover is quite eye catching. I would definitely like it as a coffee table book.

I was actually thinking the same thing. I'll never actually make anything from this book, but dammit that photography and cover art alone is enough for me to purchase it hahaha!
