Reading...  Pretty Iconic: A Personal Look at the Beauty Products that Changed the World. This is the same book featured in my beauty gift guide and it's a fascinating deep dive into some very well known beauty products from the past and present.

Park Bo Gum Encounter, Park Bo Gum Boyfriend, Encounter, Boyfriend
Watching... Encounter.  I got into this one because of Song Hye Kyo and Park Bo Gum.  I wasn't so sure about the pairing (not because of the age difference but the chemistry. I'm invested because the acting is solid, the chemistry is palpable and the visuals/cinematography are beautiful. The story is nuanced and I like how it employs familiar tropes and subverts them in unexpected ways. The end of the last episode totally gave me the feels. I've been impressed with Bo Gum ever since I saw how earnestly considerate and well mannered he is IRL on 1N2D.  He is absolutely precious with a gorgeous smile can melt hearts. Mercifully his polarizing ramen hair is gone by the second episode. Song Hye Kyo is eternally stunning and youthful and I've always admired the subtlety of her acting. I want to get my hair cut like hers now.

Listening... to Lee Hong Gi's Do n Do.   The FT Island lead singer's second solo album features his trademark power vocals and some catchy tunes. Favorite track has to be Cookies.

Eating... tofu stew. Stew season is back and I like this one because it doesn't need a long cook time. I don't use a recipe and just adapt it depending on what ingredients I have on hand, Tofu and kimchi are musts. It can easily be made vegetarian which is perfect for our meatless days.

Drinking... Earl Grey tea.  Black tea leaves and the essential oil pressed from the rind of the bergamot oranges yield the distinctive flavor and aroma of Earl Grey tea which I just adore. It also has some lovely benefits like reducing anxiety, protection against heart disease, enhancing immunity and energy boosting.

Enjoying... the holiday sights around the city. It's such a magical time of year.

Loving... Decorté cosmetics. You've heard me raving about their blush but their eyeliner has ruined all other eyeliner for me. It's so precise, wears incredibly well and is refillable. I will have a dedicated post about what I'm using soon.

Wearing... this Suncoo Sweater. It's so cozy and festive. I just gravitate more towards vibrant colors when it gets cold.

Holding... out for the Loeffler Randall Scout Knit Sock Sneakers which I put on my wishlist back in April and finally getting them for 80% off the original price. These are some seriously cool kicks and they're actually even more versatile than I thought they would be.

Black Friday Shopping Update: Our new smart TV and AllClad skillets are awesome! The J. Crew Going Out Blazer worked out better in the solid black than the tweed. I ordered both in a size 4. The black fit perfectly and the tweed fit like it was a full size larger. I really wanted to love the lace pants but I was swimming in them. I considered going down to a size 2 but that wouldn't solve the problem that they're just cut too big in the hips and thighs for me.

There's still time to enter my latest giveaway. I've partnered with Formulate and the prize is a fully customized shampoo and conditioner set. Check it out here.

Ooh the Decorte line does look fabulous! I was just looking at All Clad skillets earlier this week! MC2, D3, copper core...I was overwhelmed with the options. But I also want to get a cast iron pan and compare it against an All clad fry pan. Let's see ;)

Great current mood list Rowena! I've never thought about trying tofu stew, but it does sound interesting. I like the idea of how you can even turn it into a vegetarian meal for meatless days. Have an amazing week!

His smile is charming indeed. Song is beautiful, she makes for a great pairing with him.
That pink sweater is gorgeous. Vibrant colours can definitely help us fight the grayness of winter seasons. This is a great list!
