I first wrote about the Vitabrid C12 brand around this time last year when I was introduced to their Scalp Shampoo, Vitamin C Face Brightening Powder and Age Defying & Firming Dual Masks . You can read my review here but to skip ahead, I'm a major fan of this K-beauty brand and I have since repurchased each of these products which all remain part of my routine. The shampoo is a winner for both my husband and me and the Vitamin C powder was one of my favorite beauty products of 2018. The reason I continue to use any product comes down to results and Vitabrid C12 products have worked well for me so of course I was delighted when I learned that they recently launched a Facial Boosting Water and a new version of their Dual Masks which target brightening which the brand sent me to try.
Vitabrid C12 encapsulates the power of Vitamin C through a proprietary technology that creates a highly effective delivery system offering a continuous release of the ingredient into the skin for maximum absorption. Known as Vitabrid CG, the breakthrough complex stores and preserves Vitamin C within skin-friendly mineral layers that releases the highly activated Vitamin C continuously to the deepest layers of skin over 12 hours upon application. This enhances the efficacy and works better to protect skin against free radical damage which speeds up the process of premature aging, dark spots, and wrinkles. Vitabrid C works with the body’s natural abilities allowing it to heal itself from the inside out. Vitabrid CG exchanges active vitamin C with perspiration from sweat glands, skin pores, skin surface wastes, and CO2, helping the absorption of Vitamin C by the skin. When applied to the skin, Vitabrid CG promotes collagen development, resulting in more youthful, brighter and radiant looking skin with less fine lines and wrinkles. It also provides protection from the damaging effects of UV rays. Vitabrid CG is a key component in the full range of Vitabrid C12 products. Their products also feature Peptibrid™, an evolved peptide delivery platform which improves the purity and penetration rate of peptides by improving it's stability and skin absorption thus promoting collagen production and regeneration efficiency
Vitabrid C12 Daily-C Facial Boosting Water
$28 (4.4 fl oz/130ml)
Formulated with a potent blend of peptides, stem cells and a hyaluronic acid triple complex, Vitabrid C¹²' Facial Boosting Water is a hydrating and balancing and toner and skin treatment that strengthens and enhances the skin's moisture barrier as it restores pH balance while providing an antioxidant effect. For best results, it is intended for use with their bestselling FACE Brightening Powder (my full review), a potent mixable form of stabilized, active Vitamin C.
Key Ingredients/Benefits
Peptibrid™ provides skin regeneration and antioxidant effect, heals damaged skin.
Stem Cells promotes skin regeneration and antioxidant effect, maintains elasticity & firmness.
SOD (Superoxide Dismutase), Glutathione, Resveratrol suppresses skin aging caused by active oxygen, promotes skin activation, and improves the antioxidant effect on skin.
Bacillus/Soybean Ferment Extract from fermenting soybeans which strengthens the skin barrier and regulates skin balance for a calming effect.
Hyaluronic Acid Triple Complex delivers a high moisture content that hydrates dry skin from the inside out to keep it moisturized.
Niacinamide is a Vitamin B complex that inhibits pigmentation, promoting more even overall skin tone.
Adenosine promotes proliferation of fibroblasts to relieve wrinkles.
Water is an apt name for this toner since it has the appearance and texture of water if said water was super soft and silky. I've used it alone and it works as promised to hydrate and prep my skin for my skincare routine. I prefer to use it with the Vitabrid C12 FACE Brightening Powder which is a staple of my regimen. I love it in this form because the unique time transdermal time released delivery system overcomes the limitations of traditional Vitamin C, which is easily oxidized, water-soluble and can be difficult to absorb into the skin. I was previously mixing it with the Saturday Skin Freeze Frame Beauty Essence and applying after toner. I really like how this works my Vitamin C into the toner step. Two taps of the powder dissolves into the toner and gets patted into my skin right after washing my face. I'm already sold on using Vitamin C in powder form and this facial boosting water is my favorite way to use it now since it condenses my skincare routine and it was specifically designed for that purpose. For that reason, I'm convinced it'll work even better for brighter, more even tone and clearer appearance. I've been using it every morning for the past few weeks, pairing it with a vitamin E and propolis products for a boost in sun protection.
Vitabrid C12 Dual Mask: Brightening & Luminous
$8 for 1 // $35 for pack of 5 (1.02 fl oz/30ml)
The Vitabrid C12 Dual Mask: Brightening & Luminous features a brightening formula made with plant stem cells, peptides & Vitamin C that delivers a concentrated supply of nutrition and elasticity deep into the skin to instantly brighten and revive tired and distressed skin while enhancing moisture, radiance and luminosity. Made with skin safe ingredients, this mask is suitable for all skin types including sensitive.
Key Ingredients/Benefits
Peptibrid provides deep delivery of peptides to promote collagen synthesis.
Trehalose, betaine, hyaluronic acid, allantoin improve moisture retention.
Vitabrid CG (Active & Stable Vitamin C) to brighten skin, improve elasticity, promote regeneration while helping to improve skin condition.
Stem Cell Triple Complex promoted skin regeneration and antioxidant effect, maintains elasticity & firmness.
Peptide Complex promotes proliferation of fibroblasts to smooth wrinkles.
Niacinamide, Glutathione, Alpha-Bisabolol & Madecassoside brightens and inhibits pigmentation for more even overall skin tone.
Sodium Hyaluronate, Xylitol &Allantoin delivers a high moisture content that hydrates dry skin from the inside out to keep it moisturized.
I'm no stranger to Vitabrid C12 Dual Masks since I use the Age Defying & Firming version on a semi-regular basis. This one is also a plush and substantial sheet mask with a luxurious feel. Made of a hypoallergenic, non-stimulating microfiber, it is well sized with well sized and placed cutouts. Packed with a light mesh backing. this mask is generously soaked in solution, like enough that I always have enough to DIY another mask for myself. You just need to get these. There is no discernible scent. It adheres well to my face and wears comfortably for the recommended time of 15 - 20 minutes but I've worn this mask for up to 40 minutes without any issues. Upon removal, my skin feels smooth and refreshed and appears visibly brighter and more even. While I love the instant radiance boost, the glowing and luminous appearance of my skin the next morning is even better. I know some people don't believe in sheet masks. I personally have gotten some incredible results from regular usage and it's a major boost to my routine. The key is to be conscious of specific ingredients that you know work to target your skin concerns. If you use sheet masks with a goal in mind, they can go a long way to addressing certain concerns. I like both versions and I'll definitely be using these after my Clear + Brilliant treatments from now on to really take advantage of the benefits since post treatment skin is especially receptive to Vitamin C. These may seem a little pricey but a box of 5 costs $35 which breaks down to $7 and there is definitely enough solution for two masks so it can cost as little as $3.50 per treatment which is not expensive.
Do you use vitamin C in your skincare routine? Any favorites?

Vitabrid C12 has done it again, proving that good things happen when you combine proven ingredients with advanced technology. After trying these products, I'm an even bigger fan of the brand. Vitamin C has made such a difference in the luminosity of my skin and I'm convinced that the stable form and time released delivery have gone a long way amplify it's potency and efficacy. The range of Vitabrid C¹² products are available for exclusively online at Vitabrid. They also recently launched an Eye and Face Cream that sounds really promising.

I am a huge fan of Vitamin C in my routine and currently use The Inkey List Vitamin C, but won´t repurchase as it is quite irritating.

It seems to be a quite new great brand- I never heard about them before. Thank you for all this details and review.
I don't use Vitamin C for my skin care, chingu, and it shows...LOLZ. I've been neglecting sleep that my skin is really suffering and I really need some intervention. The facial boosting water sounds awesome...well, the whole line really. Thanks for the review, Rowena!

Thanks for the introduction! I hadn't heard of Vitamin C in powder form, but love the concept. I'd definitely pair it with a toner. I'm also on the hunt for the right masks. What others do you prefer?
I'm impressed with the packaging of these products. Vitamin C is important for our skin, I need to check them here. I'm looking for the right toner for me.
Have a great day.

There's no denying the benefits of vitamin c when it comes to skincare. I currently only use Dr Dennis Gross vitamin c cream but have been confused with the discussion over if you can mix vitamin c products with retinols. There is too many articles for and those who say don't so I haven't invested as heavily as I could.

Yes vitamin C is an anitoxident so I imagine it can do wonders on the skin if delivered correctly and this brand sounds like they know how to do that!

seems like an amazing brand indeed. I love that part about formula that enables vitamic C to be absorbed into skin over 12 hours. That sounds really effective. All of these products seem very promising.
Voy a buscarlos:)
Todo es estupendo! Te espero por mi blog! Feliz día! 💜💜💜
Ooh I like the sound of both products! Vitamin C is such a tricky ingredient and I've had so many products oxidize before I can finish using them, so powder definitely seems to be the best form, and I like that the water is designed to work in synergy with the vitamin c! The sheet mask sounds fabulous too, I love using one regularly in my routine, and for the results, I don't think $35/5 is bad at all, especially since high end brands like SK-II and Sulwhashoo are so much pricier!

These sound lovely, Rowena and I am intrigued by the Facial Boosting Water and Brightening Powder, they sound like a powerhouse combo!
