Since choosing to opt out of attending fashion week in recent years, I've only kept up with the shows peripherally. I'm in place where I'm into real and wearable clothing so much of it doesn't interest me at all. An exception was Celine Spring 2020 which was about as effortlessly stylish and wearable as you can get. Designer Hedi Slimane created a reprisal of Celine circa 1970's when the brand was at the height of Parisienne chic. And the streamlined, timeless looks he sent down the runway had a fresh yet rather systematic feel of classic components that make up a very cool wardrobe including an array of outerwear and blazers, bootcut jeans, blouses, skirts and dresses. Even if you can't afford Celine, this is a collection that is very easy to take style cues from. It really speaks to my tomboy meets granny aesthetic though I prefer a touch more color. Blazers paired with jeans and a top with cool details is one of my style uniforms and I love midi dresses paired with knee high boots.

Ah yes you are right, this is a very wearable collection. And yes a great go to for inspiration for everyday wear. Looking chic w/o looking overdone. I am still very immersed in FW. Went to a lot of shows this season in NY and Paris. Went to Rick Owen in Paris and he does not make everyday wear lol. But the shows are so fun and dramatic and he always makes a statement.

What a beautiful collection! You're right that is very wearable and timeless. A great collection to make inspiration from. Street style at its best. I like the skirts and the dresses with boots and the blue jeans in this collection are gorgeous. I have to admit that I often love collections that are anything but wearable because I like artistic and fashion forward designs, but it is really nice to see a collection that is fully wearable.
This is such a cool looking collection, chingu, and indeed very wearable:) I can totally see why you love that midi-dress-with-boots look...I am loving it too!
Thanks for sharing these:)
Chic.

I can't afford Celine, hell far from it so I appreciate you pointing out that it's a collection that we can take inspiration from. I love the cool retro vibe from this collection and I can see myself wearing a few similar looks.
The patterned pieces are my favourite, stunning collection x
This collection is so fierce does not look like a Spring usually is with pastel light soft colors. Celine took it to a whole new direction with the gold and the leather jackets and of course Black what New Yorker does not lover Black lol. Have a great weekend.
The 70s are my favorite period fashionwise, so I love to see that it is still going strong in fashion shows for Spring 2020.
I agree this is a wearable collection! Love the nostalgic themed fashion!
Oh, this collection has a good variety of item I love it the first outfit. Thanks for share with us darling
