Beauty Products, Favorite Beauty Products

This is where I talk about some of the beauty products I've been loving lately...

I wasn't really into this clay-to-foam shampoo when I first started using it because I didn't care much for the gritty paste like texture. But once I started getting used to it, I learned to appreciate how the Moroccan rassoul clay formulation deeply cleanses and soothes my scalp removing impurities and creates great volume unlike some detoxifying shampoos that clean and leave my hair flat.  And if used right the gritty paste actually transforms into a velvety foam. I also like that it comes in a smaller 2.7 oz. size because it means I can actually finish it. I always opt for the smallest sizes available when it comes to haircare. It takes me forever to finish anything because my hair is short and I don't over wash it.
$19 - $53 (2.7 oz/ 75 mL / 8.33 oz/ 250 mL) at Nordstrom, Sephora, Dermstore, LookFantastic

I got this body cream on sale in a set with the Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream that I reviewed here. Like the face cream, the body cream contains the brand's proprietary TFC8 (Trigger Factor Complex), a patented blend of natural amino acids, medical-grade vitamins, and synthesized molecules that work to create an optimal environment for cell regeneration and self regulation. Bisabolol provides anti-inflammatory benefits while shea butter, glycerin, and sunflower seed oil nourish and hydrate skin.  I love that this cream is truly fragrance free and it has a lovely buttery texture that feels like silk on the skin. Yes it pricey but a little goes a long way and it makes my skin so smooth and supple. The level of hydration it provides is the best of any body product I've used and it also diminished the appearance of a scar I had on my arm after a month of use.
$165 (6.7 oz/ 200 mL) at Nordstrom, Sephora, Blue Mercury

Besides concealer when I need it, the only makeup I wear when I go out these days is this brow gel. I love how the mousse-like texture creates definition and volume to give my brows a laminated look that is groomed and fluffy. It uses biodegradable plant-based fibers instead of synthetic plastic microfibers boosted by haircare actives so it supports brow health while delivering a high-payoff natural looking pigment and a hold that's both soft and flexible. And it comes in range of 10 shades including grey which I prefer because it gives a softer look than black.
$22 (0.12 oz/ 3.7 g) at Nordstrom, Sephora, Kosas

I'm a fan of the original Lano ointment made with pure lanolin that mimics your skin's natural oils. It is cruelty free with no artificial colors or fragrances and can be used for a variety of purposes on the body. I really like the convenience of this stick form which imparts a rich dose of conditioning hydration with a swipe. I've been using this as a lip balm and the natural waxes seal the moisture in for hours which makes it perfect for use under face masks.
$17 (6.7 oz/ 200 mL) at Ulta Beauty, Anthropologie, Free People

Since the start of the pandemic, I have gone through so much hand cream and this has to be one of the very best. Not surprising since I really like Nécessaire body products as well.  Formulated with peptides and multivitamins for skin health, this hand cream absorbs quickly without feeling greasy while creating a long lasting barrier  of moisture. Big points for being truly fragrance free, having no questionable ingredients and it is packaged in a recyclable metal tube.
$20 (2.2 fl oz/ 65 mL) at Nordstrom, Sephora

It's a shame that body cream is so expensive, it sounds like a good one! Hand cream is definitely a necessity as I find hand sanitiser so drying!

Hope you are having a good weekend :)
