My Impressions
Clear and slightly golden in appearance, Joanna Vargas Rejuvenating Serum has the consistency of a silky oil and the most intoxicatingly sweet and slightly honeyed scent, presumably from the presence of neroli oil. I'm normally not a fan of scented products but since neroli is a personal favorite, I happen to like this. I've been using it twice a day following my Vitamin C treatment. One light pump is enough for my entire face. The serum is slightly runny so I have to work fast to pat it in. It doesn't feel greasy and absorbs readily with a light satin finish, immediately leaving my skin feeling hydrated and noticeably plumper and smoother. This definitely provides a nice dose of moisture as well as a fresh luminous glow to my skin. After using it for a few weeks, my skin is softer, more toned and feels more balanced. Enough that I don't even need a moisturizer on top of it at times. This product also made a big difference after my second Clear + Brilliant treatment when my skin was going through the sandpaper phase in keeping it well hydrated. Forget about glass skin, this product gives me honey skin. I gave up foundation this summer and I might not go back. I'm quite impressed with the effects that the Joanna Vargas Rejuvenating Serum has had on my skin and I think it will be even more marvelous during the winter months. I'm marking this one for a repurchase. The ingredients are lovely and it is wonderful for dry skin. This is not for oily skin types or those who have an aversion to strong fragrance. I'm definitely intrigued to look into the other serums in the Joanna Vargas product line now. The Daily Serum with Hyaluronic, and Vitamins A, C and E sounds amazing!

Joanna Vargas Rejuvenating Serum can be purchased from Joanna Vargas, DermstoreNetAPorter, and Bloomingdales.

This sounds like a winner! I do have combination skin so I wonder it would be as effective on me though (I don't usually use moisturizer during the day during warmer months). Maybe I'll use it when I visit NY this winter!

As someone with oily skin I probably wouldn't use it as a serum step, the olive oil would be too much. The other ingredients sound lovely though.

Thanks as always for the heads up on these brands I've never heard of before, chingu:) This serum sounds awesome, but I do have acne-prone skin so I don't know if all that oil will work for me. Your skin is #goals though...I wish I can go out without foundation but alas, don't want to scare the people around me.:P
Have a great Monday:)

This sounds like an amazing serum! I have combination skin so the olive oil might make my skin oily, but I would still use it for when my skin is dry. The claims and results sound promising! Have a great week!

I like a lot of the ingredient in this, especially the rosehip. I'm currently using a serum from Clarins that I adore!

I've been seeing a lot about argan oil these days but I had no idea that it was proven for it's greatness. I have so many samples (not with this brand but others) and I'm going to start testing them out.

Sounds like an excellent serum with all the great ingredients. It's surprisingly difficult to find a good oil-based serum (I recently had to return the one I got based on the rave reviews..). I'm excited to hear about the Clear+Brilliant treatment, btw.

Have a great week, Rowena! ^-^

I like Joanna Vargas, and obsessed with serums, this specifically has all of the key ingredients that I already use in my skincare so I would like to try this serum. Thanks for the review. I'm finally back from holiday and hope to see you soon. Enjoy the week. <3

I haven't tried anything from this brand but the serum sounds lovely! I'm actually a fan of scented products, especially if it naturally comes from the ingredient (instead of being added as "fragrance"), and I like that this comes in a pump instead of a dropper. Thanks for the review, I might have to look into this for the winter!

The ingredient list sounds absolutely lovely, Rowena and I think my dry/normal skin would appreciate this. That price on the other hand makes it a little harder for me to splurge on it.
