This is where I talk about some of the beauty products I've been loving lately...
Skin Actives Intensive Recovery Mask*
Featuring USDA organic sea kelp this Intensive Recovery Mask could be a dupe for La Mer Intensive Revitalizing Mask at a fraction of the price. Both masks work to neutralize free radicals and protect skin. The kelp in this mask is fermented through a proprietary process which maximizes its moisturizing properties while making nutrients required by the skin available. The ferment also has a soothing effect that can reduce redness, itchiness and irritation. I've been using this mask twice a week and it never fails to leave my skin feeling soft, hydrated and bouncy.

LixirSkin Vitamin C Paste
This innovative wash-off treatment isolates the acid form of vitamin C, L Ascorbic Acid 10%, into a potent paste that neutralizes free radicals, UV rays and oxidized sebum for more a vibrant, luminous and more even toned complexion. It's a speed mask that requires just a few minutes after cleansing, I use it the mornings and like to leave it on for a little longer to boost its efficacy. It doesn't have the best smell but I don't mind it for the boost of radiance. Vitamin C is one of my favorite skincare ingredients and this is a great way to get a little more of it into my routine.
$45 at Net-A-Porter, Cult Beauty, Beautylish
Bio-Oil Skincare Oil
The formulation of this product is a combination of plant extracts and vitamins suspended in an oil base that is known to work wonders on scars and stretch mark.I had a scar from a bad insect bite that is virtually non existent now thanks to Bio-Oil. While using it for that purpose I also discovered it's a wonderful moisturizer. A little goes a long way and it leaves my skin super soft.

I haven´t tried any of the products, but am a huge fan of these speedy masks. I had a Vitamin C one from REN once, that sounded similar. What is the scent like?

Bio-oil sounds like a great oil ad I like that it is affordable as well. It's great it helped you get rid of that insect wound scar. All of these products sounds lovely. The Vitamin C paste sounds amazing too.
I've heard great things about bio oil. I may need to try it. I have a small scar on my arm that I think came from an insect bite when I was outside about a month ago. Have a great week Rowena!
I have been using Bio Oil for over a year now and it works great as a night oil and offer the perfect amount of moisture for the winter months as well.. and you are right, a little goes a long way.
Haven't tried any of these, chingu, but they all sound great. That Vitamin C paste on sounds amazing and something I should try:D
I totally forgot about Bio-oil! Thanks for reminding me of this inexpensive yet effective stuff. I should buy a small size again and try it on my insect scars (I recently got a few when I visited a friend's garden).
Hope you've had a great long weekend. And, hope you have a great rest of the week! :D

The packaging for the Vitamin C paste immediately caught my eye - it looks so.... wholesome?! haha, not sure if that makes sense! Great idea to leave on for a little longer to help boost the effects :)

Love the LixirSkin Vitamin C Paste, it's probably my favorite vitamin c product yet! Oskia always impressed me with their beautiful products so I'll have to add that oil to my wishlist!
