The Sephora Beauty Insider Sale

Sephora Spring Sale, Sephora Sale, Sephora VIB Sale, Sephora Spring Bonus Event
The Sephora Spring 2019 Beauty Insider Sale is happening right now! One perk of the Sephora Beauty Insider rewards program is this sale which grants members a discount of 10 - 20% off almost everything depending on your level of membership. Many people use these sales to stock up on their favorite beauty essentials and/or splurging on items like a Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer which I totally recommend btw. This sale is live online and in stores through May 6.

The Sephora Beauty Insider Rewards Program is free to join. The top tier is VIB Rouge, for customers who spend $1,000 a year. The next level is VIB, for customers who spend $350 a year. The Beauty Insider tier has no spend minimum and is for anyone in the program.

VIB Rouge members get 20% off their purchases on  with the code HEYROUGE
VIB members get 15% off their purchases with the code HEYVIB
Beauty Insiders get 10% off their purchases with the code HEYINSIDER

Gift cards, eGiftcards, FLASH and PLAY! by Sephora, packaging, taxes and shipping are excluded from the promotion as are products from The Ordinary. But almost everything else is eligible including many luxury brands that don't usually go on sale. Don't forget to take a look at the "Sephora Favorites" which are value sets featuring makeup and skin and hair care products from a variety of brands. These make great gifts and the popular Sun Safety Kit is always a winner. This year's kit actually contains two of my repurchase picks and with the sale of each one, $25 is donated to the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center for up to one million dollars.

Like the year before it took me until the end of 2018 to reach VIB status. Some brands I use regularly aren't available at Sephora and I remained dedicated to working down my stash and avoiding unnecessary spending/wasting money. I usually use these sales to replenish items and maybe try out something new. I like to put together a wishlist to stay on track and not end up with anything I don't need.

REPURCHASING

•  Coola Full Spectrum 360° Sun Silk Drops SPF 30
These innovative drops contain an advanced clean, organic formula that provides full spectrum protection from the sun, environmental toxins as well as digital overexposure. I like how this liquid can be used alone or mixed with any skincare or makeup product. It has a lightweight, invisible finish. Featured in this recent loves post. This is my everyday sun protection. I don't use SPF 50 unless I'm going to be outdoors for an extended period of time. I usually walk in the shade, wear hats and use an umbrella for the sun.

•  Dr. Jart Cicapair Tiger Grass Color Correcting Treatment SPF 30
If you read this blog then you know I gave up foundation last summer and started using this color correcting treatment. This SPF 30 serum is still my go to product that evens out my skin and makes it look fresh, natural and just better overall while protecting it from environmental and free radical damage.

•  Drunk Elephant TLC Sukari Babyfacial
It's no secret I love Drunk Elephant Babyfacial. You can read my full review of it.  I've lost count of how many bottles I've gone through. This mask effectively refines my skin and pores, leaving my complexion super soft, fresh and smooth.

•  Clarisonic Replacement Brush Heads
This is pretty straight forward. I get the Radiance Brush Heads for myself and the Deep Pore Cleansing for my husband.

•  Sol De Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream
I became obsessed with this luxe, quick absorbing cream over the winter for it's amazing beachy scent and long lasting hydration. I think I might give the Coco Cabana Cream a try.

•  Cocofloss
Cocofloss is my favorite floss. It's sturdy and works effortlessly. This floss is infused with coconut oil and comes in some fun flavors like strawberry, cara cara orange, mint and fresh coconut.

•  GrandeLash
I don't have to wear mascara anymore thanks to neuLASH Lash Enhancing Serum. I did take a brief departure from it when I tried out GrandeLash at the end of last year and it did a pretty good job of maintaining the length and fullness of my lashes. It's half the price of neuLASH. I'm a fan of GrandeBrow as well.

•  Sephora The Cleanse: Daily Brush Cleaner
I wash my makeup brushes every 2 weeks and in between this alcohol-free brush cleaning spray gets them clean quickly and effectively with just a spray and wipe.

•  Farmacy New Day Gentle Exfoliating Grains
This product is one which my husband and I both use to wash our face in the morning. It works as well on his oily skin as it does on my dry skin. We always bring it with us when we travel too. Full review here.

•  Bite Beauty The Lip Pencil No. 44 Mahogany
My absolute favorite lip pencil. The lightweight formulation is always smooth and creamy with the best pigmentation/coverage. I wear this on it's own sometimes with lip balm.

•  Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter Color 4 Medium
I use this as a highlighter and it gives my skin the most incredible dewy finish and subtle golden  lit from within glow.  This versatile product can be used all over as a complexion booster/primer as well.

•  Maison Louis Marie No.04 Bois de Balincourt Candle
This candle has the loveliest warm woodsy scent that makes me feel like I'm outside while in the comfort of my own home. I need to get a few of these.

COVETING

•  Private Doctor Minus Serum
I've been intrigued ever since I first read about the cutting-edge ID.SCULPT technology in this serum with that mimics microscopic needles to sculpt skin like an injectable, minimizing lines and creating definition.

•  Volition Beauty Strawberry-C Brightening Serum
There must be something to this product which became an instant bestseller when it was first introduced at Sephora. My skin does well on vitamin C  and the vitamin C in this brightening serum is derived from strawberries. It has some other nice ingredients too like kakadu plum and hyaluronic acid to promote radiance, hydration, and even-toned skin.

•  Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser
This innovative cleansing balm made with a blend of fruit extracts and nourishing oils is supposed to melt all traces of dirt, makeup, and sunscreen from skin, including water-resistant formulations. Sounds good to me.

•  Lord Jones High CBD Formula Body Lotion
I'm always looking for alternative ways to relieve pain that don't involve medicine so CBD products are of interest to me and I'm glad they're more widely accessible now. I've heard great things about this restorative extra-strength CBD-infused lotion which creates a cooling sensation upon application.

Sephora Germany sadly has nothing similar, not even a membership program or birthday bonuses to get. But wow, it takes a lot of money to reach VIB Rouge, I never knew! So many people have VIB Rouge, what on earth are they all purchasing there?

I so need to try that Dr Jart color correcting cream. You really piqued my interest with that post. And I LOVE the smell of that Beach Bum lotion I want to buy it just for that. It is expensive but so luxurious I always "sample" it when I am in Sephora ; )

Lovely Sephora list! It is great to know what you're repurchasing too. With so many fantastic products on the market, I'd say that a product that we are going to repurchase is always a winning one. I didn't know about Sephora Insider Sale, sounds like something worth checking out.

I adore the bum bum cream and thought I'd love Cococabana as well, but the latter was too coyingly sweet for me, and I didn't like the gel texture as much. I ended up buying just two things, the SDJ Glow Oil and Farmacy Honey Grail, both of which I'm testing now!
