Peach & Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum Review

Glass skin is defined as the Korean beauty technique of prepping your skin in a way that makes it appear healthy, hydrated and looks practically translucent. It sounds good but honestly it's not a goal of mine because it seems to be more of a trend which can be faked with makeup and I've seen people with not so great skin complimenting themselves for having glass skin. I do think the principle of healthy, hydrated skin with a luminous glow is aspirational but my skin goals go beyond that. My ideal is cloudless skin which is a completely clear, flawless complexion with no discoloration. Unlike glass skin, cloudless skin comes from within, focusing on skin health and vitality while holding a connection to overall wellbeing. It involves healthy lifestyle habits that go beyond skincare like sleep, a well rounded diet and avoiding inflammation triggers. With that said I wanted to try the Peach & Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum more so because of it's skincare benefits than it's promise of glass skin.

Peach & Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum

My Experience
I've been using Peach & Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum for about a month in the mornings. It is fragrance-free, clear in appearance with a lightweight, bouncy texture. I like to mix this with my Oskia CityLife Concentrate and apply after washing and toning my face. It absorbs quickly and easily with a refreshing and hydrating sensation. This serum wears well under moisturizer, sun protection and makeup. It does a nice job of moisturizing as well as balancing and does impart a subtle glow. I gave up foundation last summer and my skin is currently in a good place in terms of brightness, clarity and smoothness. While I can't say that this product is responsible, I'm pretty sure that it has contributed to all of this since my routine is fairly streamlined these days.  Peach & Lily Glass Skin Refining Serum is a solid skincare serum. I really like it's clean formulation and powerful, clinically proven ingredients that work. And it's $39 price tag won't break the bank. I like it enough that I just purchased another bottle for $19 when it was on sale during Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty.

I have not used this refining serum but I have used Peach & Lily products before from a gift bag I received, and I liked them. I have been wanting to use more of their products. Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this, Rowena. Have a great new week! <3

After reading your review, I'm really curious to check this serum. It's great that it worked well on your skin. I'm currently using Kiehl's midnight recovery serum that is nice. The packaging of this serum is also cute. Very nice review dear.

Have a happy Monday.

I like packaging, ingredient list and the results you are describing, although I agree with you that "glass skin" is more of a trend word and that we should aim for healthy skin over everything else.
I like the description of "cloudless skin", although that is near to impossible for me to achieve.

Ooh! The fact you repurchased another bottle says is all really! My skin seems to be going through some crazy phrase lately while adjusting to the new season - lovely one day and terrible the next haha!

While I like the idea of glass skin, but will admit that I had my doubts about this serum initially due to its name. But the fact that you repurchased it speaks to its efficacy, plus I like that it's not super expensive, even at full price! Will keep this one on my radar.

You are right that good skin comes from within. When I get back from Paris I so need to get back on a healthy diet and yes $39 this is a great doable serum.

I've tried Peach and Lily from CVS but nothing like this. I think I would try it if it goes on sale again. The ingredients list is impressive.

That's a great price for a serum and I like the ingredient list. I don't need translucent skin, but like the idea of cloudless skin! I have still have freckles so that may take a while though!

Sounds good as the skin of his face is today, the truth is that I first heard of the term glass skin, I like the idea that this serum contains peach and lily, it should certainly give good results this combination of ingredients even more if it has gotu kola and hyaluronic acid.
