Loving... our new humidifier. We run a humidifier nightly during the winter to combat the dry heat. Our old one conked out on us after a few years so we made the switch to this ultrasonic germ defense model. The bigger tank means we don't have to refill it every night and it's super quiet too. Humidifiers are a must for keeping dry winter skin at bay and we also breathe better when we use it. Get more of my winter skincare tips.
Reading... The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing. Yes like finally. I'm totally late to the party but I get the hype. Marie Kondo's methods are both practical and useful. I applied her KonMari method to a few drawers and was amazed by how much space was created and how everything is so clearly organized now.
Watching... The Man in the High Castle and Veep. Have to admit I'm probably into the latter more than the former because of the humor. My husband has read The Man in the High Castle and the premise of it is quite interesting.
Listening... to David Bowie's Blackstar. Still hard to believe he's gone.
Eating... lots of sushi. I seem to always be craving it lately. You'd think I'd want something hot in this weather.
Drinking... Kusmi Algotea. I picked up a tin of this on a whim while replenishing my supply of Kusmi BB Detox Tea. It's a blend of green tea, mint and seaweed that I find very refreshing and comforting at the same time.
Amused... by Wordylicious. As a lover of words, this site is like candy to me.
Wearing... lots of layers. Winter is on.
Enjoying... our reorganized and purged home. It took some work but was so worth it!
Looking forward to... an early Spring. The groundhog predicted this and I'm holding him to it.
Missing... Ji Chang Wook. The last thing I watched him in was The Healer and that was a year ago. He is currently in China working on his Chinese film debut in Mr. Right.
What's up with you?

Yes to layers! I put on an extra layer right before posting this lol.
Yum, sushi! I never get tired of sushi. I wish I could handle rice better. I'd have ti all the time too!
I am just recovering from the second bout of flu in three weeks... and will be happy to be rid of it so I can start exercising again and enjoy Stella's school break!
Have a great weekend Rowena!
I dont eat sushi from ages and I drool over it only to read the word!:P I didnt know that site Rowena, browsing it now so fun! Cant wait to Spring as well, lets hope for an early and lasting start everywhere! Happy weekend! xo
Ji Chang Wook....such a hottie!
And yes to sushi:) One can never eat enough sushi.
i need to do a big clean out--loved the book. i need to work on my folding clothes like she does.
Hi Rowena. Well, I also think that humidifier is a great tool for cold months. I also try to humidify the air in the room I sleep in, putting a cup of water near on the windows sill. I haven't had sushi for a very long time, these days I've been eating only burgers and I should consider start eating healthier soon. The wordylicioys blog looks very interesting, I'm going to check it out. Congrats on the reorganized home, Rowena! Have a nice weekend!xo
Hi dear! That books sounds like a great read...and saying that I could use those tips is an understatement. I always stuggle with organizing my home. I love cleaning, but I'm not tidy....I was never one of those people who keep everything in one place so I really need to watch out for clutter. I need to read that book! I will look it up.
Sushi? Can you believe I never had it? I did eat raw fish many times but Adriatic cusinine style (meaning with olive oil and salad) but I have never had a real sushi. I'm really looking forward to it. One day....or maybe I will get tired of waiting and make my own sushi. I saw algi and stuff in supermarkets....and how hard can it be?
p.s I've been wearing a lot of layers too:)
Two handsome Ji Chang Wooks?! I'm in awe, such a cutie this guy. ;) A humidifier is such a fab invention, isn't it?! We need to get it next winter! Though winter and layers are still on over here too. Also can't get enough of sushi - anytime, anywhere! Haha! <3

Great things in this post, especially love sushi! We also have a humidifier, and I agree it's essential during winter months. Those flowers are gorgeous to say the least Rowena. We just cleaned the house since we are away on the weekend, so I am quite exhausted but I know it will feel great to come back to a clean and fresh place upon arrival. Enjoy the weekend.

I read Spark Joy and really liked it. I need to read her other book...
I just got back from my trip and now trying to get organised again. That is about as exciting as it gets for me. I need to check out this book on organisation, I hadn't heard about her before now and I am super intrigued. I used to be good at this but as I get older it just seems to slip away from my grasp.

As part of my declutter mission, that book is really on my radar. Would love to hear what you think about it after you read it.
And one of my pet peeves right now is having to refill the humidifier's tank every night.
We could eat sushi every day! Thanks... now we're craving a californian roll!

YES!! This is the first winter I've used a humidifier and will be using one every winter from now on!! Love it!
I've never had sushi! Too scared to try it! lol
Yes, me too! I've been reorganizing a lot lately and I love those flowers. Also, I can't wait for an early spring and I'm thinking about sushi for lunch today. Kisses, sweetie
I feel like we've mostly skipped winter this year. It's been cold and snowed a few times but maybe after last year I have different standards. I've been layering but less dramatically than most winters.
I used the Kondo method on some drawers too but now I'm stuck with a small pile of things that have no home. I know that's totally not the point. :)
I believe in humidifiers! They really help your skin, breathing and so many other things. I have an older one, so it's a little bulky. Definitely want to purchase a slimmer one. With the home remodeling, I'm definitely purging and reorganizing things. It makes you feel so much better.
