Vitabrid C12 Daily-C Balancing Cleansing Balm

Vitabrid C12 Daily-C Cleansing Balm Review, Vitabrid C12, Vitabrid C12 Review, Vitabrid,

This has been a year like no other and with all the time spent at home, my skincare routine went through some changes but one step which I didn't abandon aside from using sunscreen every day was double cleansing even though I stopped wearing makeup. While I don't double cleanse every day, I would do it on the days when I would have to go out especially when I was regularly going to physical therapy and on days when I work out especially vigorously. The extra step makes sense in these scenarios since I want to make sure I get my skin as clean as possible after being outdoors or sweating. Now I've gone through a number of different cleansing duos with this process but I just may have found a new favorite with the Vitabrid C¹² Daily-C Balancing Cleansing Balm and the Vitabrid C¹² Daily-C Balancing Foam Cleanser which I have previously reviewed here.

My Experience
Vitabrid C12 Daily-C Balancing Cleansing Balm  is creamy white in color with a thick sorbet-like consistency. It has a slight almost citrus scent that is barely discernible to my nose. One scoop is enough to cover my face and the product readily transforms from a balm to an oil as I massage it into my skin. My process with balm and oil cleansers usually involves working it in for a minute or two and then I add water and let it emulsify before rinsing it off. This balm turns into a silky emulsion and rinses off cleanly without any residue which is really nice. I like to pair it with the Vitabrid C¹² Daily-C Balancing Foam Cleanser which happens to be one of my favorite cleansers for a complete refreshing and hydrating cleanse with antioxidant benefits. I've said this before, I believe that a proper cleanse sets up your skin to  absorb your skincare and any active ingredients that you apply to it afterwards. This cleansing balm is a product with an elegant formulation that works as it claims and it is a lovely addition to my regimen. I generally prefer cleansing balms to oils because of the texture as well as their tendency to rinse cleaner. My all time favorite cleansing balm is the SU:M37° Skin Saver Melting Cleansing Balm which I just can't find that easily anymore but I would gladly use this in it's place.

Vitabrid products have become a staple in my routine. I still use their Vitabrid C¹² Facial Boosting Water (reviewed here) mixed with the Vitabrid C12 Vtamin C Face Brightening Powder (reviewed here) and then apply Vitabrid C12  Dual Drop Serum (reviewed here) followed by moisturizer in the morning.. Vitamin C is an effective ingredient on my skin and Vitabrid C12 is a standout because of their stabilized breakthrough Vitabrid CG complex along with their proprietary technology that creates a highly effective transdermal delivery system that provides a continuous release of active ingredients for maximum absorption and efficacy. I was recently looking at old photo pictures of myself and noticed that my freckles have gotten so much lighter this year even though I only went for one laser treatment back in January. I'm pretty sure my use of Vitabrid products (daily sunscreen and avoiding the sun in general) has something to do with that. And I think the general condition of my skin has also improved from not wearing makeup.

Beautiful products. I feel like these type of creams work even more now that we don't wear make-up that often.

This Vitabrid C12 Balansing Cleansing Balm seems like a lovely product. It is great that it leaves your skin clean and that you can combine it with other Vitabrid products you use. I think cleaning our skin is always important, no matter whether we spend the time and home or outside. When we don't leave our home our skin is not as exposed to harmful elements but our can still get dull so it is important to take proper care of it. My skin routine is pretty simple because I rarely wear make up but I make sure I clean and wash my face every day and apply some moisturizer and often also sunscreen. I cleanse my face every day with Afrodita products (it's a Slovenian brand), I have a couple of them that I rotate, a milk cleaner and a gel cleaner, both seem to do well by me.

I hadn't ever heard of a cleaning balm.. nor had I ever heard of double cleansing.
Going back under my rock now.

To be honest, I am not using a cleansing balm in my routine. I have a couple that I need to open, and recently adjusted my skincare for winter. I remember the cleanser review. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Wishing you a great Christmas holiday week and Happy New Year, Rowena! <3
